What do you think: is kaspersky using more computer resources than sophos or some other av software like nod32 or norton? Which is by your opinion best AV for slower computers?

A Personal Letter To Tyra Banks - Cutting Addiction
About addiction to cutting and endorphins (0) I was watching the Tyra Banks show today ( because there is little else on at 6 am) and her guests
were people with addictions. Tyra covered a variety of addictions such as alcoholism, surgery,
shopping, and cutting on oneself. After the show I wrote her an email ( I have no idea if she will
ever see it) about the viscious cycle that is involved with people who cut themselves. I thought I
would share my email and personal story here because cutting oneself is on an extraordinary rise (
particularly in our youth today) and I wanted to help educate some of the behind the ....

if most of you know which one I am talking about anyhow... The basic addition is free, or you can
step up to the next package which they charge. The basic free doesn't have the adware &
spyware. For that I use search and destroy and adwarese. (not sure if I am allowed to post that,

Windows Vista Sp1 Blocks Antivirus Programs
(5) Well it seems this is the first major problem for Vista SP 1 in the sense for those who have the
following Secuirty Suites installed on your ocmputer that is running Vista. They block the
following programs; Zone Alarm Security Suite 7.1, Trend Micro Internet Security 2008, BitDefender
10, and the 2008 version of the Jiangmin antivirus. As for the reason why these programs don't
work, Microsoft says "they are incompatible and so they must be block". Well not exactly like that
but you get the point they also mention that other small programs might now work either b....

Canadian Police Tolerates Piracy For Personal Use
One giant leap for mankind (6) http://torrentfreak.com/canadian-police-to...-piracy-071110/ This is great news for Canadians and
the rest of the world, but especially canadians /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle"
emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> This means more countries are likely to follow in their
footsteps. Piracy for personal use should not be attacked. Only piracy that makes a profit, and
bootlegging should be targeted. I do a lot of pirating and I hope the US will learn something from
Canada (but I doubt it). What do you guys think of this news? Any Canadians around to comm....
Do You Believe In Life After Death? What Are Your Personal Feelings About It?
(23) There are aguments on the philosophical, scientific and religious sides of life after death and not
one person can come to a definitive conclusion. Of course not! Nobody has ever REALLY come back
from the dead to tell us what happened to him/her after they died. Every argument is speculation.
Every religion has it's own teachings of death and the hereafter and I don't feel this is
something that anyone should argue with. We are taught a specific belief and nobody should ever tell
us we are wrong because it is our way and we are entitled to that way. Persona....

Sony Ericsson T650i
Personal Review (1) The first thing that struck me when I held up the Sony Ericsson T650i was just how tiny its
keys were. In its marketing material, Sony Ericsson says that the phone designers took QUOTE
inspiration from nature and the Nordic light to produce a phone that is beautiful to look at and
alive with energy. I found this rather exaggerated, but looking beyond the strange keypad, the
phone is otherwise pretty well-designed. The top half of it is covered in stainless steel. The
screen is made from scratch-resistant mineral glass. At 12.55mm, it's quite slim too. A ....
Kubuntu 7.04
A review / my own personal experiences (4) Many people have been asking me recently about switching to Linux, and a few people still seem to be
unsure what distribution to use. Up until recently I have never hesitated to suggest Kubuntu as the
best starting distribution. However, recently this has not been the case, and I wanted to put down a
review of everything right and wrong with the current version of Kubuntu. What is Kubuntu? For
those that don't know, Kubuntu is a free operating system, based on Linux. It is considered,
by many, to be one of the best distributions (versions) to use for your first ....

might consider the lengths the TSA (and other country's similar agencies) are willing to go to

My Best Games Ever
Personal review of games played in past and now (4) This is more like an overview of classic game styles and games that had a mayor effect on future
games development. Reason why i didn't use different topic name is beacouse i think this
overview is way to much subjective to have any other - more serious topic name. Another thing i
should mention is that i have never been anything more than a noob in most of (Multiplayer) games
here. Since i'm living in Croatia, somewhere on the internet i saw a short description of
Croatia that goes "Former comunist country".I laughed at it but there is some truth to it. Even as ....

Poll: Refining Personal Quote
(1) I like my sig quote, but I'm still trying to balance conveying my intended meaning with minimal
words (Being brief is NOT my strong suit. ^-^) The quote is based off of one of my characters,
Daphi'indi. Since she's pretty much a self-insert, though, it works for me, too. ^-^ On a
scale of 1-100 of evil to good, Daphi'indi rates in the 90s. ^-^ Her primary concern is the good
of people, sacrificing her own needs without a thought for strangers, let alone her friends.
She's also a great study of human nature, however, and recognizes that nothing wort....

Which Antivirus Gmail Is Using?
A person found out it is Sophos! (11) Hey everyone! While surfing the internet I found out an intersing report..which claims that
Gmail is using Sophos as the antivirus. This guy used a free service in which he sent out some
malwares and that service gave out the report of major antiviruses...like which one detected it and
which didnt. And then he compared it with Gmail....and the results show that Gmail found out
exactly the same malwares which sophos found...so that means there algorithm is same...so it has to
be sophos! For more information : I am giving the link of the person who conducted the....
First Computer You Ever Owned
What was the first personal computer tha (207) Just a curiosity issue for me. I know that a lot of you are very young (at least compared to me), so
I imagine that some of the responses will be Pentium 3's or 4's. However, bringing back
memories of older technology is entertaining for me. So if you started "Back in the Good Ol'
Days" I'd like to hear what you started with. The first computer that I ever personally owned
was a Timex-Sinclair 1000. It was a small thing that hooked upi to a television for a monitor. The
base system came with 1K of memory. There was no such thing as a hard drive at the ....
Fastest Antivirus & Firewall Software
(44) I did a clean install of Windows XP some time ago.. It returned to the fast speed and all
animations were sleek... Only after I installed Norton AntiVirus and Norton Internet Security, my
computer became slower then before... Startup now takes longer time and the computer seems to
process something even the computer just boot into the desktop... Task Manager shows a jump of
additional processes in the background... I understand that it's all normal to have Norton
AntiVirus to run applications in the background to track virus every micro-second.. so does Norton
