data transfer via IrDa is slower than 28.8k modem... lol its the slowest form of transfer.. I dont suggest u use it.

yeah, that is the problem. but i think it will same if we use serial cable from mobile phone to PC. what about bluetooth, is it faster or just the same. maybe flexybility is the one only positive thing.
