Anyway,
I really, really want IPB - So I found IPB 2.0.0 Trial - And I want to upload it to my trap17.com account - But how? Because it does not offer it in cpanel - And I really really want it! Can someone help me out here who has done it before?

It offers an older version in cpanel, just as good, and i recoment phpbb, so universal

I suggest you get a ftp program and install all the files into your site using the instructions in the readme file or wahtever. Just incase you want to know. I don't know if its allowed but you might want to goto my site and download the full version of WS FTP pro 9. Its one of the best.

Well, IPB 2.0.0 trial needs something like optimiser which requires you to ask the admins whether they have the programme to do it... I've found a completely free IPB2.0.3 with lots of mods installed!!

Where did you get IPB 2.0.3 from? Also, where do you get the IPB *older* version from via cpanel? Also:I have seen trap17.com user's forums have the same style as this one, is that because this style is avaliable via cpanel? ~Hurley

Maybe because they have access to the older cpanel before... I even have IPB 2.0.4 for free... It's a secret, not telling...

You can get the older ipb by going into your cpanel and clicking "addon scripts" and finding "InvisionBoard" you can install it from there, I beleive it's version 1.2. You could upload the 2.0 trial in a zip, click it and extract the files if you wanted to

What's a banana? I'll consider, and if you dont have the resource why not try out phpbb or smf from your cpanel? They're great boards too, although they are not so professional and flexible...

Exactly - Thats why I want IPB - But I have run out of credits..  Is 1.2 still pretty good? I know it looks nothing like 2.0.4, but still is it any good?

there it free versions of higher ipb boards if can find them, but it is illegal.

Database Connection Problem
phpBB2 installation error (5) *edit* Ok well the original problem has been solved. I have installed phpBB2 on my new how here.
Transfered all of the database files over. On my new forums all of the old posts and everything
shows up right. The problem is when I click the "Go to administration panel" at the bottom it links
me to log into my ACP on my old forums. It changes the url and all. If I hover over the link it
says that it will be directed to the right way, the way I want, but it doesn't. Does anyone
know anyway to fix this?....
Wordpress Installation Error [resolved]
Anything to change in the wp-config.php file? (3) I've chosen to install WordPress manually and things were going well so far...until I hit an
installation error when I tried to run the install.php file on my browser. For the record, I
logged into CPanel and went into MySQL Databases, created the databases, the username and added the
user to the database - as suggested in the installation procedure. Perhaps there's a mistake in
my wp-config.php file that might've caused the error. If there's something I should change,

Shout_box_v8.5.2 Installation Problem
(2) i downloaded this file for my php site...and it didnt work for me because the files i installed in
there couldnt link together correctly...there are 3 folders a sql, Public_html and Conversion tool
in the shoutbox file i just downloaded...i installed all the folders into my server...then i tried
adding the block and activating my shoutbox block and shout module....but they didnt quite work
because they had to communicate with the stuff in the sql folder....this was a problem becuase my
phpnuke stuff is all in a folder called "nuke" which is in my Public_html folder....s....

install it fully when i got this error message An error occurred trying to update the database
