IPB is simple and easy, probly most popular, PhpBB sometimes can look more professional, but it doesnt have so many mods etc...

Is It Illegal To Use Invision Power Board V1.3?
Please read inside. There are a few important notes. (11) Ok, back when Invision Board was still freeware, I downloaded a copy of Invision Board v1.3 for use
on the web, but I never used it. I found out, when searching my computer earlier, that I still have
the copy. And I want to know, would it be legal to use it on my website now? I searched the
Invision Website for licencing terms regarding this, and also did a Google Search, and found that
all Forum Software from 2.0 onwards is now illegial without a licence. (As if people didn't know
that already!) However, I found nothing preventing use of IPB 1.3, and the fact....

A Couple Of Phpbb Questions

Anyway, I would really appreciate it if anyone can answer any of these questions that I have about
PHPBB. First, I want to know how I can change the logo of the PHPBB. When you first install PHPBB,
it gives you their logo. You know, the one on the top-left. How do I change it to something that I
want? Second, how do I make it so that when you click on the logo, you go to a different location
instead of the forum root? Third, is it possible to add addition code to the forum....

(32) For all of my boards, I've always used phpbb. I love its versatility, the skins that are
created for it, and its capabilities as a free BB app. I do realize, however, that there are many
BB options available. Has anyone else used phpbb, and would be able to compare it to the opther
