| | Ok so I bought a domain name from yahoo and set it up. I added the trap17 name servers on it and added it as an addon domain in my trap17 cpanel. I have the addon domain redirect set to redirect it correctly, but it changes to my atomicnacho.trap17.com/mynewdomain-com/ URL in the address bar. I would like it to stay as www.mynewdomain.com. The redirect works fine, but the URL changes in the address bar.
I need to make sure that the new domain points to a folder under my main public_html, so I thought I needed to set it up as an addon domain.
I've searched around the forum a bunch to find an answer, and have'nt had any luck. My appologies if I missed the answer somewhere.

what you have done are all wrong! -------- step: 1. rechange the ns to yahoo registration default. 2. set an A record as that on your registration control: *.yourname.com --> 69.50.188.18 yourname.com --> 69.50.188.18 www.yourname.com --->69.50.188.18 3.deleted the addon domains on your webhost's cpanel. 4. bind the domain " yourname.com" (remember is Yourname.com but not www.yourname.com) to your addon domains again. -- any question about that just post again i will give your the correct answer. guangdian

Addon Domains
What exactly are they? (2) Sorry if I should have read certain bits of the forum for an answer to my question, but I have
looked and cannot seem to find it in the usual topics. I would like to find a bit more about
domains, and especially addon ones. I see from my cpanel that you can have 9 parked domains and 9
addon domains. At the moment I am using 1 parked domain, which I use as an address for my website
and email. I did it like that since that was the way I was advised to set up my domain. But, if that
is the purpose a parked domain serves, then what are addon domains? Can you, just like wit....

Sub Domain Problem : Urgent
Cannot access my sub domains (10) Hi, I am having some serious problems with my sub domains. I registered a site with trap17 named
http://zoebelkin.co.cc . Then I made 2 sub domains for the site. One is for the forums section
and the other is for the gallery section. 1> forums.zoebelkin.co.cc 2> gallery.zoebelkin.co.cc
Whenever I type these in the browser adress bar the browser gives an output that it cannot find the

(2) Hey. Today I decided to change my default domain to a subdomain; I kinda needed a personal website
but I don't have the time to spend 5 hours waiting for the Uni.CC name servers to set up.
Anyway, I collected a couple more hosting credits to that I had enough to change it, and changed my
