Not sure why anyone would want to use ie on the pc, it's like the worst i've seen in like forever. It lets everyone install just about anything. I mean i use it everyday when i'm on my mac, with no problems i might add, but on my pc it's just crazy. http://www.round.trap17.com
I think the IE 7 will be included with windows longhorn, if so then im just getting lh, lol, but i like the tabbed browsing, i hope they use the same hotkeys tho, themes would be nice but not totally needed for me, i have windowblinds for that, more security would be a great help, and a better download manager in it aswell, I use ie sometimes for things like .net stuff (hotmail, msn spaces, etc) because they work best with it, and well im really glad to hear that they are finally fixing the png format for it aswell. that would be like a dream come true, lol
It won't be with Windows Longhorn, it will be with XP SP2. Microsoft WILL be focusing on security more than anything else. However the graphics will look somewhat like Firefox/Netscape (from what I have seen). It will come in tab browsing and a prototype should be released this summer (I think). Chances are it is going to be better than the current version of Firefox, and probably the newest version at the time. Yet the popularity IE6 has lost will hurt, as someone said earlier, IE still has a very bad image. I will most likely switch to IE7, if it fails me agian, I'll go back to Firefox.
I heard that microsoft were not releasing any more IEs. They were just going to make "patches" and updates to advance the one that they have now.
As more browsers are released, W3C have to come up with more stringent rules of which us web designers "have" to follow.
Firefox will always stand strong, unless some unseen virus wipes it out. This is because of the openness of it. With being a community project, people can take ideas from the likes of IE and adapt them to Firefox.
The bad reputation that IE and Microsoft are developping will have unpredictable events. It may boost their prestige, or it could do the direct opposite. The problem with Mr Gates is that he is trying to hard to make money and delve into people's lives and way of living. If he were to sit back a little and watch the market, he would do a lot better.
They are late, very late. All this "new" things that Internet Explorer 7 will support are already supported by Firefox. And even if they will release it now, Internet explorer would have some security holes (okay, okay also firefox does) but anyway it's safer with firefox than with IE. Firefox is blocking malicious programs, but I'm not for shure that IE does. Well I'm shure that I'll keep using firefox instead of IE because it's safer.
And it's tima that Microsoft lose its monopol on computer software area. I was reading an article about it and there sais that IE has about of 98 % users, Mozilla just 1% and others (that was 2 years ago) now the number of users of IE is decreasing, now should be 96%, but that happened just because IE was packed with Windows and common users didn't know that there are existing other internet browsers.
he/she doesn't make a lot that it left the version beta of internet explorer 7. you can get it in the link of below. I recommend you that the pruebes.maybe finds a bug and you the sheaves to taste like the microsoft gentlemen. some say that it blocks programs of instantaneous messaging as messenger.

hmm ... is the file safe ?? or infected ? i do not know ... but why download a microsoft program out of microsoft's own website ?? you know the logic there, dont you ?
BETA versions are meant to find out the "glitches" by testing the product internally as well as releasing that version to acquire feedback from the users. Once all the information is collected; it is used to add to the product to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
I'm really unsure about the safety of that file link. It's better to wait for the final release rather than screwing up your PC.

Hi. I would like to ask if anyone knows a solution to this. I currently have a windows vista
computer. It indicates it is connected to the internet. I am able to use Windows Live Messenger. But
when I try to surf the net with a web browser, such as opera and IE, it doesnt work. Any ideas? The
firewall is off, but browsers all face a problem accessing.....
I hate that peace of junk web-browser, and I don't know what THE HELL were Microsoft's
devs thinking when they made it and decided it to be bundled with the OS and not making it nearly
good enough as other variants. I can say, yes, I understand that a browser needs to be

I share a Windows XP computer with two friends, and we each have our own User Account on the
computer. Recently whenever my friends use the PC, they begin to have problems with it. For no
reason whatsoever, Windows Explorer will crash and close all the current folders that are open. I
went onto their User Accounts to see for myself (with permission, of course), and found that
Explorer would crash any time I right-clicked a File, and would also crash on occasion if I clicked
"File" on the Folder Window's Menu Bar with a file selected. It also happened on rare occasion....
Okay, I've had Vista for a few months now but just recently my Windows Explorer has been having
problems. It says "Windows Explorer has stopped working" and then I click the option restart the
program. I usually have 2 - 5 Explorer windows open and when I click restart the program it closes
all of my windows and opens up My Documents. I usually get this error one or two times a day but
I'm not doing anything wrong. Is this error only happening to me or has it happened to anyone

Hi everyone, I have been working as a SEO for quite sometime. There are different techniques that
are used by us in this work. There are many sites that we need to promote and use certain links for
internet marketing. Among all theses, I need to open multiple tabs for the work. I know that all the
links are not safe and some of them are ir-relevant or not safe. This also makes the work slow and

I AM VERY MUCH ADDICTED TO NET and my freinds used to call me net-eria(means a net being) i
couldn't concentrate on my studies at that time but i worked over it to overcome that addiction
now i only spend 10 hours a week on the net only. i think it is not addiction anymore relative to

past EB Games (they sell games hence the name). I picked up their catalouge and I was looking

First of all, psp can browse the internet with its simple browser. BUT! What you may not know
is that there is a bug where when you try to search or use a wireless lan connection (WLAN) the psp
may say something like: Internal Error (80410A0B) To fix this without any memory loss, take out
the UMD which is in the psp, and also take out the memory card. Next, go to settings, then system
settings and click restore settings, the psp may freeze up, but it is not broken, take out the
batter pack and put it back in, the settings should be restored and all should work.....

One day I was bored so I set a password for our Web security software, Trend Micro Internet
Security. I turned on the URL filter, and now, whenever my friends send me something funny that has
no porn or anything in it, I get the Blocked error. I am really annoyed by this; I can't change

I have a brand new computer running Windows XP 512 MB RAM, Compaq Presario 1.4Ghz Celeron. I am
connected to the internet with Comcast in Fremont. Web sites pages are slow to open up. The
performance problem occurs on many different sites, so I suspect the problem is on my end -- either
the computer or my internet connection. It often takes several seconds to open up a link. What
can I do to fix this? I am not one to be picky about speed, but net browsing is so slow that I
don't feel like using the computer any more. I've heard some people say that ....
To those of you that know company : Rogers that provides both internet and TV and even more. When
you are a customer for a long time with them you always get a bunch of stuff cheaper than other
people and you also have to make them see that u want it cheaper or in some cases free lol i had to

were both long time users and we both had same old crapy modems. So what do i do... i call Rogers

Hi, I was wondering about having an internet service based from a satellite connection. This mostly

432 KB per sec but I am wondering how might work as I've heard the connection speed for
satellites connections (phones) had a large delay due to the range of transmission. Would anyone
