Then we will have saga of more security fixes for IE 7.... Who knows how many flaws it will have in this version. But hoping for good

I heard that Microsoft is copying the same features to that of Firefox. Additional tabs in the same window will be used, along with more customised features to make it easier to manage. Personally, if they can simply add as much added security and abilities as Firefox, I will only ever consider using it for FPT and Control Panel work only. Other than that, I'm sticking with Firefox because they're free, and they rely on people's donations to be productive. In order to get donations, they have to make the best product available to the public. Firefox has simply been fantastic for me, and I would never look or consider changing to Internet Explorer again. Besides, Microsoft products tend to be bulky and buggy. Mozilla makes Linux too as well I believe, which happens to be one of the most secure and stable true (free) Operating Systems out there. I may try Internet Explorer 7 when the final version comes out. I only hope they make it compatible with Windows 2000, but I heard somewhere that they won't (as usual).

seems preety cool but i am with firefox right not and it really great. But i will probally give that a try and see how it goes. Cant wait to see how the whole relase looks when it finished

Is It Possible To Destroy The Internet?
(99) I have always wondered if it is impossible to destroy the internet all together... is this even
possible? If it is possible to destroy the internet what would you have to do? Would you have to
destroy all the Internet companys like comcast and aol? Or would that not even take care of it?
Just think, if someone took down the entire internet not only would our lives be boring but it would

for years. It's a big 450 mb download but I think it's worth it. You have to log in to

smart and will remove previous versions....

(18) Well as I was updating and reinstalling everything on my computerm i came across microsoft ie7
browser since i was going to update it anyways and notice that beta 3 was out all i can say its more
stabled and alot faster i think also the interface is a bit more organized as well. They brought
down some of the icons to the tab bar so the the menu options are not taking up a huge amount of
space up top. but other then that it's comign along nicely i think being somewhat updated and
with a cleaner look as well.....
Windows Vista Beta Available?
There is one going around (60) I have heard and that there is a Windows Vista Beta version going around. I have been to a torrent
site and found few there. But I’m not going to download it because i'm guessing it is illegal.
Do any of you here have Windows Vista Beta? If you do what are the system requirements for it to

it, I downloaded and installed SkyOS 5 beta 8.5 on my main basement x86, an eMachines T2958 with
add-in NVidia. I had tried 8.4 but had some issues. Fewer issues in 8.5. This is way-alternative,
far left (or right, rather) of Linux. For an early beta it's pretty slick. Looks and works a
bit like BeOS, but more current and with a custom GUI dev system (SkyGI) that beats the heck out of

Broadband In Gas
Carrying internet over gas pipelines (5) I recently read about a company called Nethercomm that is promoting a broadband in gas technology.
Apparently, this company has some patents pending on devices that can be installed in gas pipelines
that go to commercial and residential buildings to provide the "last mile" connection for broadband.
It appears the technology is based on radio frequencies propogated down the gas pipe as a wave
guide. Nethercomm boasts data rates up to 40 Mbps are possible to the home. Anyone know of any
actual implementation/trials of this technology going on presently?....
Internet Telephony - Any Experiences?

with mixed results, and recently read an article about a number of fairly large companies who have
adopted it as a money saving venture. In the UK BT announced yesterday a new phone service whereby

it automatically uses voIP over bradband. Sounds interesting.......
