On occasion it can be somewhat funny, if only to laugh at the idiot. but it quickly gets annoying. It makes whoever is typing that way look incredibly stupid. i think it originally started from that old forum/bbs thing of using numbers to uncensor words if there was a swearing filter(i remember seeing lots of "th1s" in the old days) and someone probably started doing who sentences or even entire posts that way. it was funny or even cool at first, but now its just overused and annoying. the main proof of this is i now get spam... in leet... for instance today i got "|3UY a +1m3sh4r3!!!" or some nonsense like that.
This reminds me of a friends forum, he has it set up so that "teh" is turned into "the" automatically, and posts in "ALL CAPS" are turned into "All Caps". nice idea.. |

Milk, you are so right Leet speak and the every other letter in caps is so irritating. it is like hey look it doesn't impress anyone try typing normal and you might get some attention because people won't have to decode the text.

If you ask me, it's harder, requires more work, is hurtful to the eyes, and takes longer to figure out what the hell you're trying to talk about. Typing in alternate caps is not exactly 'un-lazy' either. You have to hold shift every other letter.......so I'm not exactly sure what you mean by lazy. Unless of course you are speaking of shorthanding like "u, r, ur". If that's the case, then you look like an uneducated prep. =( And you're right, you cannot be taken seriously when you type like that. If you wanted to get the word noticed, it would just be easier to type it all in caps.....no? "pwn" isn't exactly easy to say. I've come across several occasions where there's a topic that asks how "you" pronounce the word "pwn" and so many people say it like, "p-owned" or "pawned" or whatever. It's stupid and retarded. and 1337? You mean "one-three-three-seven"? That's stupid. If you mean "elite" well that's an actual word, so..... I mean, why do you say them? What's wrong with just saying, "oh mah gawd, haha, she owned your freakin face dude!!" What's the difference between "pwn" and "own"? I see none except "pwn" is stupid. Glad typing correctly is over? You totally lost all respect I could have possibly had for you. Thanks.

My Internet Provider!
(4) Grrr this just ticks me off, been without internet for 4 weeks, only because of a stupid mistake at
my provider. They cut me off, because they thought I was behind with payments for like 4 months,
allthough my bank account stated otherwise, they didn't believe me, not even when I send them a
copy of an overview. After wasting like €50,- on phonebills (they have a number wich costs like
€0,20 per minute and put you on hold for like 30mins) and 4 letters, they finally brought me back
online. They even dared to charge me almost €30,- for plugging me in, thats when they....

Bsnl's Internet Connection
Frequent disconnections are pain! (1) This is my first ever Venting. Normally, I post in the vent..to actually calm down people or to give
them the solution(if there can be any). Well, BSNL is the biggest telecom company in India (B.S.N.L.
In INDIA Is like British Telecom in UK) and I've got an ADSL connection with them. The reason
for my anger is the frequent disconnection of the internet connection. It is so intermittent that it
disconnects almost 10 times in a span of 15 min.!(SAINT_MIKE KNOWS IT TOO!) I cant do any

I Hate The Phone Company
still no internet line (8) so we moved about two months ago. just like 50 meters acros the street. and when we moved it took
the phone company 4 days to give us a like for the phone and our internet was nowhere to be seen. so
they said ok on november the 22nd you will have your internet line. so i call nearly evey day to
make sure they got it right and today they say. "oh we lost our applications form somehwere. we will
try what we can to get you internet as soon as possible." well if for them soon is in another month

Buying Pc's Over Internet
Argh! (11) Here's the story... (almost a soap) My old pc died like 2weeks ago, when I ordered one over the
internet. They delivered it rather quick, within 5 days but the problem is... It worked only the day
it came. It began with the blue screen about vxd components and now not even 7 days later it
won't even boot properly, it won't even boot at all! Now I got to wait till they bring
another new system (free) wich will take almost another week. Argh! So after this is over, I
will just go to a store and buy my stuff there, on internet only god knows what they....

The crummy service here......... (1) I've just moved to Pakistan, and the internet all over the country has gone down supposedly. i
heard that somehow the submarine cable got cut, but it's been a week and they're taking so
freaking long to repair it, if that's the problem. i can't access my personal site, yahoo,
Gmail, basically trap17 and a couple other sites are the only ones that work. why, oh why, does a
country only have a single internet cable? it's insane! I haven't been able to check my
