im confused why would you want to make your computer run that fast, and from the several topics that i have read about this, it just seems stupid to do it when it will fry your computer to shred.
what the... he is running at 1500 FSB that pretty high and will certainly cause some thermal issues, look at the system temprature reading, I am not sure if that's correct, but if this is true then what a feat.
that is the first time ive heard about something but 7,1 ghz i think that is a mistake or a error
Thats some major cooling going on! Thats fast 7.1ghz, I think that would beat my 200mhz computer, no doubt hehe. I wonder what would happen if they brought the temperature to near 0 degree kelvin. Would the performance increase?

I find that 242 deg C hard to believe. Intel specifies that Prescott (the processor used here) HAS to be cooled to 38 deg C or better. So I'm not too sure what that 242 deg C reading is all about.

Why did he do it?...because he could.. if it can be done..then someone's sure to try it. P4 to 7.1ghz ??? temp = 242 C ?? If that's true ..then the picture had to be taken JUST BEFORE the poor puter turned into a mini hiroshima and became a smoking crater on the idiots desk. That kind of speed(& heat) kills.. really fast. There's no way out of that. Is it not dangerous to overclock a processor? I have heard about overclocked processor wich explode!
There is no way can I have a link or something? I googled and got no results.... Ive only got my P4 3.2 to 3.9..... and I dont mess with my AMD 64 I love it to much lol
