Anyways, being Intel fan, this is quite useful image... I did now most of that stuff, but I also found out something new... Thanx smile.gif

Well you say that AMD processors are better but to be honest that is not true. If you need amazing performance yes the Athlon 64 performs better than the new P4's (which also are 64 bit) but not by much. Also, if you have been reading about the new releases of both AMD's and Intel's dual core chips, the Intel chip is supposed to be a much stronger chip than AMDs so before you buy your next chip, you better do some thourogh research.

...what..?

AMD dual core (X2),...eats Intel Pentium D....for brekfast..

take a better look at the tests;)

  1. What Is The Best Processor For Gaming? - Is it Intel or AMD? (36)
What the above said....lol... I was browsing the Internet the other day looking for the answer of
which processor is the best for gaming, the compared processors are Intel Pentium IV HT E and AMD
Athlon 64 (if I am not mistaken...) Most people say that Intel is better than AMD but also more
expensive. While others say then AMD can be over-clocked and is less hotter than Intel. So know, I

I got a Dell D600 Centrino and I want to sell it. I would like to get a new laptop but now I see AMD

like my current Centrino because it runs cooler compared to the P4 and does the job done. How does
the AMD compare with the Intel Centrino for the low power heat? Also for games, would the Intel
Centrino or AMD be my choice. kservice...

  10. Intel Cuts Prices - (0)
Intel has cut the prices of its core2 duo processors again despite its profits falling as a result
of this price war. The 2.8 Ghz E6700 has been made cheaper by 40% and E6600 by 30%. But with
AMD's Barcelona chip around the corner, we can expect more price cuts. So PC buyers everywhere a

consumers what brand of chip to ask for inside a personal computer, Intel Corp. has decided it's

QUOTE SAN FRANCISCO (Business 2.0 Magazine) - Much to Wall Street's dismay, Intel is
continuing to invest billions of dollars in Itanium, a chip that most of the industry has written
off. Itanium, Xeon, Woodcrest and Opteron Itanium introduced after ten years in 2001, with no
64-bit software to run and its crappy performance for 32-bit software is already cost a lot to
Intel. AMD took the advantage and with its Opteron chip in 2003 which ran both 32-bit and 64-bit

  17. Pentium M Differences: 1.73ghz? 1.86? 2.1? - (2)
Hi. Trying to decide how fast a chip (Pentium M) to buy for my next notebook. The HP I'm
looking at goes up to 2.13 GHz. I can afford to go with a 2.0 GHz, but can save $100 if I go
with a 1.86. I can save more if I go with a 1.73. Any advice on Pentium M CPU speed? Any reason I
should not buy the fastest one I can afford...without buying _the_ fastest (with the biggest price
premium)? My experience tells me it's not worth the money to buy the _fastest_ CPU, but to go
with a step down from the fastest. I'd appreciate any thoughts on this. Than...

According to inquirer, AMD published a comercial in a few american newspapers (Wall Street Journal,

waits for his Intel opponent. That was a move, with which they are tryin' to stimulate Intel to
