Well, I know that the pentium CPUs are very good one and I dont want there to be an end to it. For me, I think that the Pentium CPUs are better than their Celeron, AMD and the rest of them counterparts. Intel only needs to make some nice upgrades and if there is going to be a P5.....well, that will be real nice. LOOKING FORWARD TO THAT...

I think they really need to sit down, and redesign some of the parts of the CPU like AMD did with the original athlon. As a result their FPU unit is much better than the intel at the moment. Intel hasn't done ANYTHING groundbreaking since the introduction of the original Pentium and maybe moving the cache into the cpu with P3.

Hard time for Intel to make bussiness decisions (2) QUOTE SAN FRANCISCO (Business 2.0 Magazine) - Much to Wall Street's dismay, Intel is
continuing to invest billions of dollars in Itanium, a chip that most of the industry has written
off. Itanium, Xeon, Woodcrest and Opteron Itanium introduced after ten years in 2001, with no
64-bit software to run and its crappy performance for 32-bit software is already cost a lot to
Intel. AMD took the advantage and with its Opteron chip in 2003 which ran both 32-bit and 64-bit
software. Intels effort to adapt a 32-bit chip to run 64-bit software also (Xeon) is no good....

Amd Attacks Intel - Intel Retreats :)
(7) According to inquirer, AMD published a comercial in a few american newspapers (Wall Street Journal,

waits for his Intel opponent. That was a move, with which they are tryin' to stimulate Intel to
accept a battle in which both new two-core processors would be tested by an impartial company. AMD
claims that this would be the only way for users to know which processor to choose.. Well Paul
Ottelini, CEO of Intel have easily turned down the challenge. If you want to know....
