frontpage good for starter back 3 year for me, now i like using dreamwaver for more graphics and more better looking sites COMBINED WITH PHOTO SHOP, dont like FIREWORKS

I just use Notepad. It's all I need. I'm sure there are more convenient editors around but I don't care.

dreamweaver and frontpage are HTML editors...just very fast and easy-to-use editors... but if you realu wand to learn the ways of HTML...you'll tupe all the codings in notepad...

I think I'm going to try Dreamweaver (since it's like the most popular). I thought all websites were coded line by line by line. I didn't realize there were programs that could do a lot of the dirty work for you.

I use frontpage to get the basic site layout ready and then I code it in notepad. That usually works perfectly. Frontpage is for starting the design of your site and notepad is for doing what you couln't do in frontpage like add PHP.

Html Editors Seem 'persona Non Grata'.
Problems with running HTML editors. (2) It looks like my PC has something against HTML editors. I use Coffeecup HTML Editor 2007 and I also
have Dreamweaver CS. In both cases, when I am editing web pages, whenever I switch from one task to
another, eg. after editing do a save, or do a preview or whatever, both programs (Coffeecup even to
a bigger extend) stop responding for a good while, quite often 45 secs.- 1 min minimum. You can
imagine how much time that wastes during editing, not to mention the frustration it causes. My PC
has a P4 dual core 2.8 Ghz, 1 Gb RAM, 250 Gb HDD, Win Xp SP2, the HDD is regularl....

Mac Or Windows?
or both? whats your preference? (21) this has probably been done a few times, but i'm curious to peoples thoughts on windows and mac;
what's your opinion on the two and which do you prefer (or do you like them both?)? I myself
lean towards mac slightly as if i become a graphic designer of some sort i will most likely be using
them; i also like the os and their style. I do like windows too though, pc games are great fun and
