Okay, I have the program Marcomedia 8 which is pretty cool, but is still very confusing for me. I don't know much on it at all and I was wondering how to create a flash player like sites such as Youtube, Google, Spikedhumor, and etc. Basicly I want a way where I can stream my videos on my site with my own player, that doesn't have the name Youtube, and such on it. Also, if I change it, the school will be able to view it since its not blocked. I want my flash player to have play, pause, volume, durations, etc. I tried playing around with Marcomedia Flash 8 and it has a option where you could stream your own videos, but I don't understand it. It said some things about a Flash Video Streaming Service, but the program they offer is $4,500! They have a demo that is everying in it, but its limited to 10 users and a time viewing it. I wanted a program that I have already such as marcomedia flash 8 to do it for me. Don't know much about it But here are a few sites that could help in setting up video streaming and what not. Google word combination"how to stream videos through flash" I highly recommend this site since It gives a better breakdown on how to set it up http://freshmeat.net/articles/view/1640/Also make sure to check out macromedia's website out they should have how-to's on setting up streaming video's .

Try using the built in media player component. Goto windows -> components. The one in there will do that.

New Flash Player Sometime Bevieaor Not Expected !
(0) Just ten minutes ago. I have installed the new flash player ( 8.0r24 )on my system. This is a
ActiveX Control for IE. But what it said was "failed to register component flash.ocx". What's
wrong? After a search of www.adobe.com. A tech. note tell the true what's happen. There are some
issue with new flash player that will fail the installation. You have to download a flash player
uninstaller to fixed this problem. go here to check if you face the same problem. Don't worry

Where should it be located for online site access? (7) I recently tried to read a pdf file from an internet site and received a message that
"Acrobat Reader" program could not be found. My copy is located here: "C:\Program

Macromedia Flash Player 8
Help installing it... (6) Four days ago I formatted my computer and have been installing all of my applications. I went to the
Macromedia site and installed flash player, and the movie is shown saying that it has installed
succesfully. However, if I go to a website that hosts flash player 8 content, It usually does not
display correctly and it tells me to go download the new player. No matter how many times I
re-install the player through the Macromedia website it does not "take". Any Ideas? Is there
anywhere I can get Flash Player 8 from as a .exe I can run and install? Thanks in advance.....

Problem From Flash 8 To Mx 2004 Pro
(6) Hey everyone! I switched from Flash 8 to Flash MX 2004 pro today... Before I made a little
website in Flash 8, and I thought I could open it in Flash MX 2004, but I think I've got a huge
problem. When I try to open the .fla file I made in FL8, FL MX gives an error which says:
Unexpected file format. He can't open all the files I made in FL
8!!!!!!!! I hope I have not lost them or anything, What can I do to
make FL MX open them ???????? I hope there is something to do about it; anyone knows what to do?....
Flash Media Not 64-bit Compatible
64-bit XP and Linux OS's won't run Flash (0) I got a new AMD Turion 64 laptop for Christmas. I installed Ubuntu Linux (64-bit version) and
started browsing with Firefox. When I got to a flash enabled site, I downloaded the plugin and as I
tried to install it, a dialog box popped up stating that flash does not support 64-bit operating
systems or something like that. Has anyone else had that problem? Is Macromedia going to make a
64-bit version?....

Is it worth it? (4) RIght now, I have Macromedia Studio MX 2004. I have no problems with it, but I've heard that
studio 8 is also very good. I know that 8 has some inprovements, but is it worth paying another 400

the first db for flash (3) i dont know you but when you burn a cd with your files and you say "oh my god where is my
grandma's pic" that's the exact time to use this almost new product that is just about to be
released, its a database completely made for flash that will help you to have the files's list
in every cd, dvd and web based applications, so what do i exactly mean?... i mean that you wont have
to use mysql or even an access db to store the cd's data anymore, now you could build your

My presonal Review (5) As im a flash junkie i need some other tools ti empower my applications and make them look pretty
beautiful so i downloaded the new Fireworks version (8)..there are new panels very useful and u can
easily see why they are there for or how to use them, the first panel i saw was the "frames".. used
to create animated gifs it seems to flash but the panel is on ur right side so it looks strange

"Actives" that contains many colors and very accesible instead of being searching the ....

the best software for creating web site? (19) Hy there! I am creating website in dreamweaver2004. I am satisficted with it because it has got
a lot of options and all other stuff. Creating a web site was never that easy. I created my web site
in just one week. Of course its not done jet but 55% of work is done. I love create flash animation
and place it in my web site.It is a big pleasure to have a funny and interesting flash animation and
also visited web page. My opinion: Its maybe the best software for creating web sites? What do u

Ie And Firefox Crash
Flash & Download problems (4) I have problems with both IE and Firefox. IE always crashes or freezes on me all the time. When I
can actually use it, it never displays flash. Like if somone has a flash animation in their banner
it just shows a still picture. I went into the internet options and enabled flahs and stuff and it
doesn't show the animation. I even got the newest version of Flash. Firefox doesn't crash as
much as IE but it does from time to time. I have ran spyware and virus software and nothing comes
up. I dunno what the problem is. Also, whenever I download something on IE or Fire....

for a big web site (13) I need to know what is the best content management system (free or commercial), for a site that
needs lots of modules, general like news, searches, and particulars, like a directory with
particular fields and a built in search by field, and things like that, highly customizable and of
course standards compliance, multi user and user-privileges restrictive (so not every user can
publish or update every other module)... Can somebody help me out with this? I guess i will have

the newest installment is allmost here! (10) yeah, macromedia is coming out with mx studio 8 in a few weeks, soposetivly. The box is the same old
black design. I wonder what new and usefull features will be coming in this new edition. I'm
expecting some more actionscript, and some more pre-scripted stuff. Just building on all the stuff
they have now. who knows, mabie it'll be a completely different studio, or a new program...
