You can get in to anu user account if you are using windows administrative account its a simple methord !

There u get a new NEW WINDOW - name Console
STEP 4. Click FILE TAB STEP 5. TAKE " ADD / REMOVE " STEP 6. Click " Add.." - (Child window) STEP 7. "Add Local User and Groups " From the category STEP 8. THEN CLICK - OK STEP 9. CLICK USER Now u can see all USER account STEP 10. Right Click on any user u want to change ! STEP 11. Choose " Set Password " STEP 12. Type NEWPASSWORD - and click OK !
Process Over ! Now you can Logout .... then Login with other user ( that u change password ) with Newpassword !

Maybe we could make it an extensive tutorial covering both methods? "my way" is especially useful if you're locked out of the admin account...
(anyways, I don't have this problem anymore with my personal computer - I can just boot from a live-CD, chroot into my hard drive and change the password )
Nice tutorial, but it seems that you can modify anything with the accounts. Change the groups rights , allocate users to certain groups, ... Can be usefull.
thats a great tip friend, but I've a control panel snap-in that helps me to manage the userpasswords, If you are logged into an administrator account then you can use this tool to change tht password of any account you want to change.
i use the ophcrack livecd to get passwords from xp. it cracks them really fast if they aren't difficult (eg. really long or a mixture of numbers and letters) http://ophcrack.sourceforge.net/
Well that is a great tutorial! It can be extremely helpful if one messes or around or really forgets his password! It would also be cool to do that in front of your friends..hehe...
Eh kind of long . I like my way though. Start>Run>Cmd>Net user (username) * It will then ask you to type in your password. Then once more for confirmation .
This is not a Win/Linux/Mac dispute, rather pointing out a few minor things that I find really
annoying in Windows OS and I'd rather change if I had the chance/knowledge (disclaimer: I mainly
refer to winxp but I've used almost all other versions, I have some experience with Linux and
almost never used a Mac OS) copying/moving files: ever tried to copy a folder containing one or
more corrupted files? if I were the OS I'd just skip those and copy the good ones, then prompt a
message "file x, y, z were not copied we're sorry for the inconvenience caused".....

Well I have been thinking about building a new gaming rig pretty soon and I will be able to spend a

Well after a week delay because of some conflict Microsoft finally releases XP SP3, and at a
whopping 342MB plan to wait awhile to get this bad boy downloaded. I had downloaded it from another
site, legally of course and to be honest I did not see any improvement whatsoever on my computer,
and so if you don't care one way or another about it make sure to disable your automatic updates
or deselect it from the options when you want to update your computer. That is my experience with
SP3 it wasn't to earth shattering but who knows for those with older computers it....

Hello! I am going crazy for a silly little thing. Please help me anyone! The icon for
ZIP files never shows the way it is supposed to. Instead it insists on displaying the Windows
'default document' icon for ZIP files. If I rightclick a zip and choose icon properties, I
