You can make your own subdoamin by
1) You should take a server from a nice server provider..
2) You should make the server with high bandwidth, huge space and much more..
3) You have to have mysql support and also some scripting panels.
4) You should allow subdomain in your server
5) And finally you should promote your website..

Why are you going to risk your machine and whatever else you would have to committ to this sub-domain Hosting Service when this is available for cheaper than a gallon of milk per week (sort of)? (at least at the price of milk around here)
Sure, it might be nice to say you have a hosting service running out of your bedroom (did that sound right?), but realistically, the machine would have to be dedicated 24/7 and the security risks are pretty huge if you fail to protect the system properly. But, whatever, it is your machine and all... Have fun...

hey you guys dont have to do that all you could do is to get a hosting script like wen.ru, its a wap host. Then all you have to do is go into the admin panel of your site and manage the sub domains that users have already made. and the scripts allows you to put the amount of banwidth you want to give to them and the space also. This would be like a automation script like trap17.net. when users sign up for an account at your site they will automaticall be registered on your site and all you have to do is moniter your site ect.

right phoenix ive been doing reaserch on how to to this so if you want to make your own sub domain service with you own end extentions and this is what you need to do:

1. get a dedicated server with preferbaly unmeterd network path bandwidth and unlimited ip addresses
2. make sure the opperating is Windows Server 2003 professional eddition with MySQL installed
3. rdc the server and go into dhcp client or if you have downloaded your own ip address softwear use that
4. create 2 ip addresses for nameservers
5. get a domain name and set the nameservers to the ips you made
6. now you must go into dhcp or your own softwear and create an ip with a link like www.yordomain.co.ep or what ever you need and then set the link from the domain to the ip you created
7. then if all goes well it should work
