It took me 2 days to learn HTML complete, by the end of the week i had made my own javascript dongle.... But this was way back in 1997, there was less HTML tags and Javascript code to remember back then, nonetheless, it was quite challenging, and yes it was "SO COOL"... but comparing to C+ or Pascal, which i already knew, HTML was VERY EASY, thus 2 days..... Javascript was quite similar to Pascal, so that wasn't so hard either... so is PHP.... 8)

Well the basics took couple of hours, and within a couple of days has a whole site with frames and dymanic code on the web.
I found a really good tutorial website that was so easy to use.
I still like using HTML as it is so easy to code.

it took me like 2 weeks to learn a ton...more than i need!  you should only really need to know the basic commands...if you run into a problem or a tag you dont kno than search on google for it...remembering all of html is close to impossible. :wink:

The basics I learned in a few days.
But I'm still learning new things and little tricks about HTML
Now I'm also learning CGI , that is harder than HTML...
Keep trying to improve your skills and...Practice makes perfect.

I just picked it up as I made my site. The basics stick there but the long things don't lol. I have been learning HTML for 2 years now and I still dont know it all. I have never actually sat there and read it and tried to memorise it though to be fair!

Javascript/HTML form submissions On a Mac
(1) My hope is that someone out there can help me with this problem. I have some javascript that will go
thru (on a PC that is) a HTML page looking for a specifc word submitted via an onclick function.
Orginally it was a form submission with an onsubmit that ran the function. But in trying to
trouble shoot it I thought the mac was submitting the form differently than the PC versions (maybe
the DOM) so I created a button with an onclick command. Again it works for the PC but not for the
MAC.
I am at my wits end. If someone can help; below is the code I am using. I....
