Cpanel is your slave. An easy to navigate feature which will guide you through doing all you'd want to do about your site. It adds subdomains, ftp accounts and mime types and can allow you to program cron jobs (which are useful for mailing lists etc) and all the other advanced stuff that comes with trap17 Everything is there for you under the click of a button along with all the current statistics for your domain.
File Manager
File Manager is a component of cpanel. If you want to add pages and edit them, you'll need to click here. Click on the icon next to /public_html/ and you'll be directed to a new directory. This is where all your files and folders are stored which are visible to all users when they access your site. Clicking on a folder displays information about it. Clicking on the icon next to the folder directs you to the files and folder that are stored inside it.

You might check Tutorial section here on Trap17. There is lot of tutorial with prewritten scripts on how to add files in FTP, HTML for begginers and HTML layouts. Maybe there is something that will suit you.
You simply upload PHP or HTML coded files to your FTP under the "www" or "public_html" folder. Naturally, the page file will end in .php or .html. For example, if you uploaded home.html to your /www folder, simply go to www.froze.trap17.com/home.html to view it. Try searching Google (like mentioned above) for tutorials on how to create HTML and PHP pages for your website.
You can download a Free HTML Editor off of download.com, along with an FTP Mananger, like SmartFTP, to make your uploads go faster.
My website was working fine, then when I tried to access it on Core FTP Lite (to upload files) Core
FTP couldnt connect (i've changed my password, but forgot to change it on Core FTP). I
disconnected from Core FTP to try and change my password, but then it couldn't re-connect, and
my website has gone down. Everytime I try and go on, I get the "The page cannot be displayed. The
page you are looking for is currently unavailable." page. However, it is only me who's getting
this....and I can't log in using FTP or access the Cpanel Any help?...
Hi- a few days ago I was unable to view my website or log in to cpanel. So then I decided to try
to post something on trap17. Lo and behold, i couldn't log in there either. So I emailed
support. They sent me name servers and a new password. Hmm..I'm using python.trap17.com. So i
don't know who i'm going to have point the name servers to. Who is my registrar? Also I am
still unable to access CPANEL. Please help. ASAP One more thing. This has been taking up my

Hi, I have currently 3 websites hosted, now due to problem in services i am planning to change my

I was reading some of these messages in this forum and I noticed that I had heard some of them

I need urgent help! When i recieved my email for comfirmation of my hosting account - i went to
trap17.com/manage/index.php. Logged in and created a hosted account. At the top of it it said "There
were problems creating your account! Please Contact Administrator. " But i went to my website
flashy.trap17.com and it was created. But now the only thing is my hosted credits were not set

So, I was wondering, is the support desk in some kind of transitional phase or something. My support
tickets keep getting closed because I get no respone, and I see the same thing happening to other
people around too. I'm still in th emiddle of trying to sort out a problem I that I first
submitted the ticket to on September 16. On the first ticket, I got a response that OpaQue was going
to see it, but a week later when nothing happened I talked to BuffaloHELP. He told me I should
re-submit the ticket, which I did, and this time I got no response at all....
