a very good read on the browser many have come to love (sorry, it's FIREFOX, not IE.  ): http://computer.howstuffworks.com/firefox.htm/printablethis explains, in easy-to-read-even-a-seven-year-old-can-understand way, the merits of firefox over bill gates' browser. take a look at some of the best features and extensions that exist today (do you know foxytunes!!!??? get it!!! how about firesomething? [just some running joke about firefox which you'll learn later. download firesomething extension here ] ). of course, a little bit of history (why "firefox"?). and most importantly, security.  if you're reading this in IE, better read the article above. and join the league of firefoxers!

I love "how stuff works" articles thanks for this, it is really easy to understand. I can send this link to some of my friends. I am really surprised at how many people don't wanna change what they use just because they are used to it. wheter or not it work best for them or not. *shrug* but knowing more about "stuff" helps a lot!

Lock Computer From All Users?
(3) Hey guys at school if I want to sign off or leave and not have any one get back on or mess anything
up I can just lock the computer. Its on a network and really easy ya just hit control Alt Delete
and lock it. What im wondering though is can you lock a computer that isnt on a network just at
home? Because if im working on stuff and I dont want any one to jack it up I just hit switch user
and they cant log into my profile right? But is there a way to make it so they cant log onto theres
eather? It just completely locks it?....

If you use P2P read here (30) Ive seen a lot of people using p2p. Most of them think that its "safe". P2P is has a lot of viral
files. It also has a lot of spyware and ad's. On top of that 98% of the files being shared on
it is illigal. If you plan to download files on P2P then be careful and follow some or all of the
suggestions below. 1)Have a UPDATED virus scanner and scan your computer every day. (recommended

Biggest Hdd Space Users
UT2004 needs 5.5gb. Got anything bigger? (10) I cadged a friends copy of UT2k4 off him and went to install it on my nice shiny C: partition with a
grand 3gb remaining. Great! 3gb should be enough for anything, me thought.... Then the installer
tells me it needs five and a half gigs just for the game, not to mention 4gb of mods. Crikey, UT2003
was only 2gb or so if I remember correctly. What the hell is IN there, 1200dpi textures or
something? I think that 5.5gb is prety damned ridiculous, but i'm sure that UT2004 isn't

Need Help With Firefox
(10) Ok, for about 2-3 weeks now firefox has been crapping out on me. First, in early december my
extensions menu stopped working. That is, whenever I went Tools>Extensions, my cursor went to the
arrow and the hourglass for about 5 second then stopped, and nothing else happened. The Themes menu
works fine, and continues to, but most of the time changes to the theme won't appear or will
appear sometime later, usually 2 hours later. Now, WeatherFox has stopped working. A message to
reconfigure it has been appearing every time I boot up Firefox, and is getting quite ann....
