I have 1.5mb/384kb DSL for $22 a month and unlimited bandwith. A pretty sweet deal I believe!

well, i live in the US and have comcast, 3.2mbs, sometimes i wish it was faster...but its ok, @ least i dont have dialuP as i used to...by the way its cable connection.

Hello. I´m from Spain and mine is 512/256 DSL. As you may see, we are far more outdated than other european countries. Here, the highest in home connections is 1 mb... and there are lots of people still with 56kbps... sad but true. Sometimes I wish I was japanese

Well for about 2 years i had DSL that was about 1mb down and 300k up but i couldnt afford it anymore and had to go back to old sloooooow 56k dial-up.  I forgot how slow it was and i hate it. I am fixing to change back to DSL from another provider that will be 3mb down and 500k up. But my house is old and the telephone wiring is old so even with filters it reduces my speed greatly. It was supposed to be 1.5mb down and with 2 phones and 1 line to my sat hooked up and a filter on each it would slow my speed down to less than 56k at times. I may get cable but i have sat TV and getting cable net only is more expensive that have cable net and TV in my area.

I live in england and am with the ISP NTL my connection speed is 750k/bs soon to be upgraded to 2mb bu will stay the asame price (>^.^)>

(9) i dont really know what the problem is, but like every 3 minutes my internet connects stops, then
goes back up after like 3 secs. i am not sure if a cable might be faulty, my modem or one of my

Connection Problems
(5) im not really sure why this is happeneing. Firstly, let me explain how this is all set up I have a
cable modem, which has a cord going into my wireless router, and also into my desktop. now last
night, i was on the desktop, and my dad was on his laptop using the wireless internet. both of us

program called TCP Optimzer for you interenet connection speed...before i downloaded this client my
internet connection really sucked heh...around 4000-5000 kbps and after i used it it went up
10000-12000 kbps...pretty big jump huh it really good for me.. so now when i download something....

Trouble Hosting Programs Over Internet
Need help, tried everything! (2) Approximately every half an hour anyone connected to me is disconnected. There is no trouble
establishing the connection and it runs smoothly till sudden disconnection. There is no problem with
someone connecting through the local are network. I believe it is something with my router, but I
can't find anything. I use a DI-604 Ethernet Broadband Router, my computer has McAfee security
center and I also have windows XP home edition firewall on. I've tried turning off both McAfee

slow...my dl rate use to be about 150-500kbs from www.yousendit.com. when i was using an ethernet

50-100kbs..same mp3 file..i've tested...got sooooo slow!.....so a few days i was working

Wow... where do I start? (3) Ok I have to basic issues. 1)- When I startup my computer, in order to connect to my DSL access, I
need to go into the command prompt and type "net start dhcp server" Otherwise I end up with all
0's when i type ipconfig and we all know that means no internet! So the question here

especially when a onlinegame is running on an other computer. But when I try to play games online
