| | I dont have flash fast internet connections like you guys  i have a 265kb download and 64kb upload, its pretty cheap for like 30 bucks here in Australia. But thats all i need, it gets the job done and i dont see the need for more speed as i dont use the internet for much. |

mine is 10mbps with no monthly download/upload limit, plus have a wireless router for my laptop, its great, just me and my grandad sharing a whole 10mbps to our selves lol.

Live in CA, us use SBC DSL, 2 wire gateway, speed is around 1.5Mbps, pretty good except when downloading things, multiplayer games are pretty fast too.

I have Comcast High Speed InternetEthernet= 100 MBPS Wirless= 54 MBPS And @ school its a 54 MBPS And @ my dads work its a T1 Corp. Connection, super fast stuff they have there, like instant page and stuff. But downloads are kinda slow, depending on the site, it ranges from 15 mins - 45 mins for a game trial... that suxs.

I'm happy with my single ISDN line at home (roughly 8kb/s up and down max, around 6 to 7 average), 6MB/s DSL at my girlfriend's place, a super fast connection at university (well ... I don't know exactly what they've got but the campus-wide limit is 12TB (that is Terabyte) traffic per month and it took me half an hour to download a 4.7GB DVD Image on one of the university's computers (the VLAN is limited to 500kb/s downstream and automatic disconnection after an hour, both wired and wireless)... ...well, if I had a faster internet access at home I'd need new hard drives even more often than I need them now  and I couldn't afford that...

I live in callifornia (bay area) im using comcast atm cause next best thing in the area is dialup lol... so we have comcast... i ran a boradband tester and my average result was 6545/348 or in other terms you may know that means 818.2KB/sec down 43.5KB/sec up QUOTE dslreports.com speed test result on 2006-03-20 19:15:11 EST:

Can't stay connected (6) I would really appreciate any ideas/sugestions for my current computer problem. I am on dial up,
it has always been very slow, but for the past few weeks I have first off, had a TERRIBLE time
getting a connection, and then when I finally do get one, I frequently get kicked off in a few

(9) i dont really know what the problem is, but like every 3 minutes my internet connects stops, then
goes back up after like 3 secs. i am not sure if a cable might be faulty, my modem or one of my
routers is bad. here is the stuff i use dsl provider-->modem-->dynex router-->2 computers and
another router-->my wireless router-->my computer and laptop i am not sure what the problem is,
seeing as just yesterday it was fine. but before that sometimes it would go out, but not as often,

Connection Problems
(5) im not really sure why this is happeneing. Firstly, let me explain how this is all set up I have a
cable modem, which has a cord going into my wireless router, and also into my desktop. now last
night, i was on the desktop, and my dad was on his laptop using the wireless internet. both of us

internet connection really sucked heh...around 4000-5000 kbps and after i used it it went up

Trouble Hosting Programs Over Internet
Need help, tried everything! (2) Approximately every half an hour anyone connected to me is disconnected. There is no trouble
establishing the connection and it runs smoothly till sudden disconnection. There is no problem with

slow...my dl rate use to be about 150-500kbs from www.yousendit.com. when i was using an ethernet

Wow... where do I start? (3) Ok I have to basic issues. 1)- When I startup my computer, in order to connect to my DSL access, I
need to go into the command prompt and type "net start dhcp server" Otherwise I end up with all
