QUOTE(Dragonfly @ Mar 11 2005, 05:14 AM) How often do you exercise in a week? I usually go for jogging and body stretching sort of exercise atleast three times a day. A year ago I joined gym but I left owing to too much difference it brought in muscles' movement when one becomes a little inactive. I feel that normal exercise is good enough for health. Share yours. thanks. I have to do exercise in a very careful way a couple days a week due to injuries from an accident. For example I discovered that to define my arms I move them in different slow graceful sweeping motions and tightening up every muscle in the arms as tight as possible till the muscles want to shake. The muscles fighting against themselves has really worked. They are feeling stronger and defining. Leg lifts have helped defined not only the legs but also the torso.

I used to go on the stationary bike for at least 30 minutes per day for about 3 to 5 days a week, then I became inactive for a while. I was shocked that I got a high blood pressure rating yesterday and now I have to monitor that for the week and hope that the pressure would go down to normal. Now I'm more compelled to lose the extra weight so I could stay healthy.

I go to a gym 3 days a week I know it will make me a little inactive maybe but I think I will try to compensate with another sport-for example I love playing basketball But whatever the cost I don't think I will give up fitnes-it really helps me build up some muscles and of course some strength. I used to ride my bike every day and I could do it even alone for 3-4 hours. Again alone I used to go all over the city with it nomatter how far But it was very old and I liked stuff like off-road terrain and jumping and things like that so I knew this was coming sooner or later-right before the beggining of the summer I broke my bike and I don't have the money to buy another ;( So from then on I haven't ride a bike. In the summer I used to jump a little or to be more accurate-freerun and parkour But now that I am last year at school our teaches give us one hell of a kind and I don't have time for pk Another thing I like is blading but again I will repeat myself-I don't have the money needed for that. So for now it's only a hard time in the gym for me After I finish school let's hope I'll find some money and buy a new bike

QUOTE(rejected @ Mar 13 2005, 05:05 AM) I exercise a lot. I run about 5-6 miles a day at a 7 minute pace, then I take around an hour brake, and go work out in the gym for around 30 minutes. The running is forced upon me though, my parents and my coach make me lol. I wish something like the above could happen to me.... But i am far from that. I was jogging and exercising regularly in the beginning.. but had a break now. Wanted to start it so badly. will be starting shortly.

I sadly don't do any exercise whatsoever... I'm pretty lazy in sport and exercise... Let's see... Well, I still go to school, so I have P.E once every week, for one hour. I used to walk 3 miles, from school to home, but I don't now because it gets dark really early. Might take it up again in the Summer. I just don't have the time to do exercise. I'm either, working, doing something related to school, or going on the computer, as my addiction stands. I don't have time to exercise... So I don't have time to go to a gym. Not everything revolves around exercise when talking about health, but the majority yes.

Hmmm... I try to jog every day but end up only going about 2-3 times per week, which is probably better, because it's awful for your knees but great exercise. I also play badminton and lift weights a lot. I wish I had a gym membership, but it's too expensive. (where I am at least)

I tend to exercise very often. Currently since i am at home, i go for a 5k run followed by 4-6 sets of 100 yrd sprints. Then i do a .5 mile cool down. I do this just about every other day. The days in between I do 3 sets of pushups and 2 sets of 75 crunchs. However, once i got back to school next week i will go back to running a minimum of 6 miles 3 times a week with runs up to about 13 miles. The reason there is such a big distance difference is that at home my park has roughly half mile loops where as at school i can just run around the town, on paths, and through school so its easier to continue and zone out. Also, at school i will still do the situps and push up as well as some curls and hogen presses with the weights i have there. Besides these, i play roller hockey in an adult league once a week. I always feel sooo much better after working out because it just clears my mind and relieves my stress. I recommend everyone to do something active atleast 3 times a week because you will feel soooo much better afterwards mentally and physically.

Enzymes And Health
Some interesting info on enzymes (0) Enzymes act as catalysts in living organisms which allow important chemical reactions to occur at
lower temperatures. They are not altered in the process and can be used in many reactions. Most of
the chemical reactions that occur in living organisms are regulated by enzymes and would happen much
slower without them. For example, without the digestive enzyme carboxypepdidase, it would take
seven years to digest a hamburger. Ethyl carbamate is a compound found in fermented beverages that
can cause cancer in various organisms. Its precursor is urea, an intermediate du....
Colors In Foods Have Different Health Purposes
(6) I chanced upon a book called 'What Colour is Your Diet' by David Heber, which is about how
different colored foods can help to nourish different parts of your body. Red and pink fruits and
vegetables help protect the heart by controlling high blood pressure and protect against
circulatory problems resulting from diabetes. Examples of these fruits and vegetables include
watermelon, pink grapefruit, tomato, watermelon, strawberries, raspberries and beetroot. Green
fruits and vegetables help to protect the liver. They are common in everyday food and should not....
Google Health Beta Service Goes Live
(1) Well it seems Google is going ahead with service even though the huge security risks that are
involved in this program. Of course, they are well aware of the problems that come with this, but
even if they got military grade security on their servers, there is far to much risk having your
medical records floating around on the internet. However, its not like they have been circulating on
the net for years through computer databases and what not, and that really surprises me that
hospitals haven't been attack or if they have, they been keeping it hush hush for years. ....
Eat Tomatoes For Good Health!
(5) Tomatoes are rich in fibre and Vitamins A and C. They are also cholesterol free. An average-sized
tomato weighing about 150gm has only 35 calories. New medical research suggests that lycopene, the
stuff that makes tomatoes red, may prevent several types of cancer such as lung, prostate, cervical,
digestive tract and breast. Cooked tomatoes have higher concentrations of lycopene than non-cooked
tomatoes. When you eat tomatoes which are cooked with a bit of olive oil, the nutrient aspects of
tomatoes are absorbed more effectively. On a side note, there are more than 10....
Where Is The Time For Exercise

Health Care In Canada Bleeding Us Dry.
health care with extremely high tax rates. (6) Hi I live in Canada and we have one of the best health care systems in the world. Yes I can go to a
hospital for free. Yes I can get treated for free but there are some serious down sides. Fist off
non essential medical things are not covered. For example a guy got a pace maker implant and after a
while it broke though the skin and was hanging half way out. Well he wanted this fixed but because
it was classified as non essential they wanted a poor old retired man to pay $40,000 to fix it.
Now there is a good side in that if something bad happens to use we will be t....
Checking You Health

Paris Hilton Released On Health Issues

issues didn't keep her out of jail in the first place? And then the judge let her off on house

3 Balanced Elements Of Life : Health - Wealth - Family (relationships)
(7) Just thought about sharing this.. I had this in my mind since a long time (heard it somewhere on
radio, tv…) 3 Bloody things in our life always balance themselves out (in most of the cases I
guess) 1. Health 2. Wealth 3. Family (or any close relationships). A person who has lots of wealth
seldom manages time for his personal health, fitness or diet and often goes through mental stress
On the other hand, A person managing health and wealth equally will seldom have problems giving time
to his family.. A person, who spends a good time with his family, kids, friend....

3 Elements Of Life, Balancing Life
Health, Money & Family (6) I was reading this post (http://www.trap17.com/forums/god-blame-t25797.html) and felt like sharing

good health, but has a very bad family life. When I say family life, it is more leaned towards
peace. Similarly, one might have a very good family life and health, but has Financial problems. In

Are Mobile Phones Dangerous?
to the user's health... (110) There has been much talk about the "microwave radiation" that mobile phones emit. View 1: Yes,
there is possibly some small risk from using mobile phones. It is vastly lower than the risks from
smoking, driving or crossing the road, and probably significantly lower than the risk from TVs and
TV transmitters. After many years of research, there is still no clear proof of any risk at all.
Statistics show that you are more likely to win a lottery jackpot, be struck by lightning, or even
spontaneously combust than you are to be damaged by using a mobile phone! You a....
