Hi guys, I would like to transfer files from UNIX machine to Mainframe system (using UNIX machine as
client). The transfer process needs to be secure (i.e. data sent thro network should be encrypted
using 128-bit encryption algorithm). I came to know that SFTP server is not available for Mainframe
systems and hence using SFTP is not an option. Please let me know any other alternatives for the
"Secured File Transfer to Mainframe system". Thanks! ...

First of all, ive searched the topics and havent found one like this. How do you host your own
website from your computer? Ive seen on some web hosting companies ' hosted by quality dell
computers or something like that, ive also heard people saying that they host themselves. How do
you do it?...

Things like Apache. Do they just wait for people to try to connect to a computer and then send back
information about what's on the computer? What other kinds of things do they send (like
headers)? Could you make a really simple one that just waited for socket connections and sent back
text files?...

so here's the thing. i got this really neat application that plays songs from a list of songs.
you can place this application to your website so people can listen to your songs while they are
surfing your site. it's called radio blog. the difference between radio blog and other players
like media player that you can add on your site is that you don't need to upload the entire mp3
on your hosting site (so it won't consume a lot of space). it has a converter that converts

I dont think the paid server can handle the recent changes, this is what the server status shows:
It's been fluctuating quite a lot and mysql has been down a few times. What do you think
should be done? I think free hosting should be stopped until there are 2 servers....

Sorry if I'm behind or something. I recieved an email saying free hosting is back.(I only joined
recently and was affected by the apache server issues) I wasn't sure if it was back up or not based
on posts. I do see that a lot of topics are gone and a lot of stickies with only a few psots that
have been made lately in them. As before Cpanel and ftp work for me, but I would have to change my
nameservers to see if the servers are back up for me so if you could let me know that would be
