| | Okay, I've had my site here for a few months, and the hosting is brilliant and everything. But my dad bought his own servers, and says it would be best if I switch to them and he'll host my site there. The switch won't be happening for a few weeks yet, so I don't want my account terminated immediately. But once I have moved everything, how do I go about having my account here closed? Do I just say, "I'm done, you can close my account now" to one of the Admins? I'd just like to know so things are all smooth, quick and simple for my site move.  |

You can terminate your account here. No need to request or anything, just following the instructions etc. http://www.trap17.com/process/terminate_hosting.htm

In the Free Web Hosting Request section, you will find in blue link "Terminate Hosting Account" you can use that. You can request to administrators to delete your forum account if you don't want to leave any trace. But we'll miss your postings then Or, you can simply not post and let the site die on its own. After your hosting credits run out, your site will be in suspended mode. After 30 days of suspension your account will automatically terminated by the server script. We'll miss you. Good luck!

Oh, I never saw that! Thanks for both your help! I'll miss this community, I think I'll just use the option of letting my account die down.

No Site Access
(1) It was working the day before yesterday and then it started giving me error messages about not being
able to access the site. I can't access cpanel either. Neither page ever loads. I don't
have this problem with any other internet pages, just my site stuff on Trap17. My site's at
www.jzambrano.trap17.com btw. This is one of the few times I'll need it up for sure so I'd
appreciate if the issue can get fixed in the near future. ....
My Free Hosting Account Request
(3) I recently filled out the form to request a free hosting account, its been about a week and I notice
that every one else's above and below mine has been reviewed, but mine hasen't been
thouched.... It also says that I have no hosting credits on the form, but the box on the forums page
says that i've got 35.55 credits! Im really anxious to get a website up and running!

Can't Access My Site An Cpanel
already did some sugested things (4) I still can't get to my website and cpanel, Tings I did: requested xisto to unblock my ip
cleaned my cache/cookies Did this with both IE and FF When I am @ my dads house he can acces my

Can't Access My Site....weird Issue
(5) Okay, so last night everything worked fine. I loaded up cpanel, fixed issues with the site after the
database move, etc. Today I'm unable to load up the site. It just keeps giving me ping
timeouts. With what I'm being told by others it is only me having this issue with my site, and
yet there have been 0 changes to my pc between it working and not. I have tried multiple times
during the day with no luck. Along with this, if I load my website using a proxy service then I do
not have any issues. The only time it will not allow me to access it is if I am "using" my....

Change Domain Name On Account Creation?
(2) My request for host account has been approved. In it I asked for a sub-domain. I have not yet
created my hosting account. Now I have bought a top level domain. Can I use that Domain Name
instead of the sub-domain I requested in my account creation process? Or do I have to first use
the sub-domain and then use the 'domain changing process' to change it to my new domain? ....

(1) Hi I have just set up an account. I haven't pointed my domain to the servers yet (my deal with
the current host does not run out till next month). What I am wondering is if it is possible to
upload and test a site without the domain pointing at it? I have tried putting up a index page but
all I get is the placeholder. I just want to know that the site will work ok THEN point the domain.
