| | Yeah it is a good trick, but just say you want to delete a file which is running, you cant do it the way you suggested. If for example 123.exe was running, go to Process manager and delete it.
I had this virus once i couldnt delete it even using command prompt. So another way of doing this is:
Pull out the harddrive, chuck it into your other* (friends) computer. And delete it using that comp.  |

Ehm, does this work for directory's too? I have one I want to delete but when I say delete it says soemthing by the line of "access denied"..

Since I do not have the time to read the entire topic, I apoligise if this has already been said. The perfect program, Unlocker. Just don't remove files that you know you shouldn't...

hey thanks man the killbox software is really usefull.. I tried it.. I wasn't able to delete one 105mb file and phew its gone now..

There is a utility called moveonoot. It saves information about your file to be deleted and deletes it on the next bott. It is an effective tool for that purpose. You can get a copy at http://www.snapfiles.com/get/moveonboot.html

I have a problem with avi virus in my computer . Virus name is funny scandel .Avi . This virus nothing to install any software and unable to delete. Can't Start Up My Computer
(6) I can't start up my computer. When I switch it on, it just goes to a blank screen, or sometimes,
it will go to the Blue Screen of Death, and the message on it changes every time, so I don't
even know how to solve it. I've gotten the Page Fault In Non Paged Area error a couple of times.
I tried to boot my computer from my Windows XP Service Pack 1 CD, but after running it and repairing

Is it better? (7) What do you think of the widescreen display laptops are beginning to adopt nowadays? Is that the
right way to go? Or should we stick to our original display (800 * 600, 1024 * 768 ... etc) instead
of (1280 * 800). For me I think these widescreen display should be the way to go, it allows you

Strange Thing Happened To My Computer
