How Do I Delete My Hosting Account?

I currently don't have the time to keep up with this forum and a website in addition to my job. So, how would I delte my hosting account? I don't want to delete my trap17 forum account, I like the discussions here, and I may want to try a website gain someday, but right now I don't have the time. Is it possible to keep my forum account but have my hosting account deleted?

Go to trap17.com/manage, sign in and it should become pretty obvious from there, hope this helps

Correct. As per above suggestion, terminating your Hosting account keeps your Forum account active, no problems.
And feel free to re-apply in the future for another Hosting account when you have the required credits.

OK, I know I'm supposed to get over 4 credits and wait about an hour for a script to bring my

Cpanel And Ftp Down, Hosting Up?

For the past 15-20 hours I haven't been able to access CPanel or connect to my domain through
FTP but my website seems to work correctly. I was wondering why is that happening when we are
talking about the same hosting account? I figure that a non-working CPanel could be due to problems
in the CPanel framework but how about FTP access? shouldn't that be a direct access to my domain
regardless of CPanel status? Right now the http access to the site works but the ftp access
doesn't... thanks for any hint! ....

Hello I have signed up for the MyCent new system, and I was wondering if my negative balance here is

I went on the billing site, to approximate how much much my hosting would cost a year and it came
out to $39.71 USD. The thing that REALLY drove the price up on this was addon domains (I chose to

What Is Vps Web Hosting?

This is probably a dumb question, but what exactly is VPS hosting? After reading up on wikipedia I
found out it's essentially a server with a bunch of split operating systems on it. The article
also said generally a VPS hosting service gives its users superlevel-access so they could run any

This is something that I thought of today.. Once the credit system 3.0 is fully rolled out(Not just
like now where it's running but not completed) what will happen with our current sites? Like,
do we need to start backing up everything now for a server change or something, or will our current

Hi! I've been hosted in trap17 for almost 4 months now. In the beginning, I tried to setup a
WebDisk to directly transfer files from my computer to my hosting account, but I didn't manage
to make it work. It might have been from my Vista's weird firewall settings, or my ISP settings,
I have no idea. Anyway, I used the File Manager since, as I don't have a lot of files on my
site. Needless to say, it is really annoying when I do just some little changes and I have to go
again through CPanel, FileManager, UploadFile... pffff So my question to you... How....

Hi, im sure im being stupid and missing something obvious. But i cant get my site to work /sad.gif"

My account was recently suspended because my hosting credits went below 0.00 days, this was totally
unintentional because i was away and didn't have access to a computer. It was a family issue.
Anyways i posted in the forums and my hosting credits are now 6.34 days, but when i try to log into
the c-panel it doesn't want to enter. It doesn't say anything about an error, the page
simply doesn't load. I don't know what the problem is and i want to use the same sub domain.
what should i do. do my credit have to go up to a certain number or what exactly is....

I have a bit of a strange problem that someone here may be able to help with. I am preparing my new
Trap17 account for my new site, and am setting up FTP access. I can login quite fine by using the
default login details, using my cPanel username and password as my FTP login credentials. However, I
have created a new FTP account using cPanel, giving access directly to the /public_html/ folder,
with a username of webmaster. Below is the result of a Core FTP session, which shows that my
password is not being accepted... Resolving ftp.travstatesmen.trap17.com... Connect ....

to close the account so that if I need to in the future I can open it without having negative

I can't delete a little file using file manager in Cpanel. I'm trying to delete a .png
image, actually, I'm trying to replace it. The response comes back as a success, but when I

access them. When I created my account, I put in my home email address because that's supposed
to be there. But instead of having my users email me at my home email account in my contact form, I
