I believe that you should probably go to Kingsofchaos.com and find out from them since they are the ones who apparently created the game.

sorry but wrong answer, the army system was based on the game created by Kingsofchaos.com, the army system is actually made by supersmashbrothers. The army system is a hack for IPB you can get it at different websites you should try and look for it on google.

I'd like knowing that answer myself. I have a phpbb and would love having the army system game on it, being it is just down right fun.

This is something I've set myself the challenge of doing. I've got a 2½ month summer holiday this year and I plan on spending some of it finishing my army system. At the moment, though, I'm doing the HTML and it's a bit tedious (there's is a bit of PHP though smile.gif).

Looks rather crude at the moment.

When I've finished the layout I'll uploaded it on the web so I can work on the MYSQL. What I do with it when it's done (if it gets done tongue.gif) remains to be seen.

You do not know how many times I've been annoyed about the Army System being an IPB-only thing. Especially since I ran a moderately-successful Army System myself back when IPB v1.3 was legal to download, and many people have requested I bring it back, but I can't afford a licence. So, electriic ink, if you think you can make a phpBB version of the system, you go right ahead!

I used to hate phpBB in the past, but if this actually is completed, I think I'm going to switch back and try it again...

same with "gameratheart", I hate how "The Army System" is only IPB, if only it were available for phpBB. I used to like IPB and although haven't bought the actual license, I have played around with it from the "demo" on IPB's site...

Anyway, I couldn't install any mods, and one of my online friends gave me a couple of hours to install mods and all that, never had the time to install the army system so don't know how it is... sad.gif

But does anyone know where I can get anything similar to "The Army System" or that game created by kingsofchaos? I would really want it, thanks...

anyway, electiic ink, if you can make the army system phpbb, or even standalone, that would be great! good luck on making that for your IPB forum by the way wink.gif

Yeah, I agree with "csshih", I would want to get Invision Power Board just because of "The Army System", but not really because of invisionize, their skins are all "x-width" (personally I like fixed width skins), otherwise phpBB3.0.x is perfect...

If phpBB also had something similar to "the army system" it would beat every single other forum software BY FAR...

But I've found something that might be of interest for some of you people who are very good at php, and XHTML, (poor me, I'm only averagely good at XHTML sad.gif) But I found something that if you want to create something like a "standalone army system" might be interested in...

"BlackNove Traders" (or simply "BNT") link (sourceforge) is http://sourceforge.net/projects/blacknova

So developers may be interested in that, not exactly like "The Army System" but it's a good start...
