Suse 10 Special Grub On Install Dvd For Holidays
The above probally makes no sense (0) I booted my computer off of my SUSE 10 install dvd this morning, and the coolest thing happened. The
GRUB background on the disk was of lots of little penguins running around in the snow with santa
hats on. I know it probally sounds like I'm making this up, but try it for yourself. It's
really funny. I think they have it installed to check the BIOS date, and if it's December 25th,
it displays that background. Sorry I can't put a screenshot up, but I'm not in the OS to do
that.....
Internet Ok, Network Inaccessible?

can't see the domain or any server shares. It could Wed., but not Thurs or today. Unattach and
reattach cables, repair connections, reboot, reassign to the domain, etc., all to no avail. Also
tried both DHCP and manual addressing. System Restore to Wed AM's restore point and its fine....

loged into MSN messenger and when they we't to go off the internet the icon wasn't there, I
managed to disconnect from the Dial-Up networking window, but this isn't very convienant. Oh,
I would guess your first response would be to goto properties and check the box to....

occurred: Could not connect to the server I have checked trusted/restricted sites and my HOSTS

is that I can ping it fine, tracert it fine, AND connect to the website fine with FireFox. While I
try to use IE as little as possible (I'm using FireFox more and more), I still....
