| | Can i delete things in my folders?I was trying some things like form generator, but then i deleted them. But the URLs still exist, and tons of space is still taken up. I would reset my account, but i'm trying to keep the forum i made. And my Drupal designed stuff. Can i access my WWW folder and public access or whatever folder?

yes you can access your WWW folder or public_html folder by logging into your FTP account. you can follow these intructions to FTP using the tutorial listed here : http://www.trap17.com/forums/uploading-fil...-ftp-t1282.html

you can login to cpanel and from there click on "File Manager" in the "Site Management Tools" section. It will open a popup window and you can browse thru your directories, edit/delete/create files/directories as and where u want. Cheers.

If you find you have deleted folders in cpanel but you are still using a lot of space, it could be you need to empty your trash bin. Use the icon to the right of the folder list. Be sure that you want to delete the files first though, once removed from the trash they are not able to be recovered.

Thanks everybody! It works perfectly!!!!!! Odd thing was, i didn't have to download an ftp program. I just typed in ftp://jenther.trap17.com and it took me to where i could login.I was wondering, when you delete a file from one folder, does it delete the file from the all?

If i'm understanding your question correctly..you want to know... if when you delete a file from one folder ..does it delete all copies of the same file that might/may exist in all other folders ? The answer is NO... you must delet each file from each seperate folder that you want to be gone. Hope this is clear RGPHNX

you can login your cpanel by yourname.trap17.com/cpanel if you wanna use a ftp programme,you would choose filezilla.or flashxp or leapftp.they are all very nice..enjoy your web.

Can't Access My Site....weird Issue
(5) Okay, so last night everything worked fine. I loaded up cpanel, fixed issues with the site after the
database move, etc. Today I'm unable to load up the site. It just keeps giving me ping
timeouts. With what I'm being told by others it is only me having this issue with my site, and
yet there have been 0 changes to my pc between it working and not. I have tried multiple times
during the day with no luck. Along with this, if I load my website using a proxy service then I do
not have any issues. The only time it will not allow me to access it is if I am "using" my....

Cannot access webmail yet. (7) After all the troubles over the past week, I have everything set up, my access to MySQL databases
restored, however, I cannot access my webmail yet. I log in on the screen before you get the choice
which webmail to use (Squirrel, Horde or Roundcube), and when clicking on Horde I get "Login failed
because your username or password are incorrect", with Squirrel mail i get; "ERROR: Connection
dropped by IMAP server." and Roundcube (probably as the name implies) keeps going round in circles.
According to the opening screen of cpanel, I have 3 email accounts (as it should be)....

Remote Access Mysql
(8) Is it possible to directly access my local database from my website? For example, if somebody
submits info on my website, the info they submitted would be transferred to my local database
directly. Is that possible? And if so, how do I set that up? The reason I don't want to upload
my database to my subdomain is because it would be difficult to keep the website database and my

Cannot access my sub domains (10) Hi, I am having some serious problems with my sub domains. I registered a site with trap17 named
http://zoebelkin.co.cc . Then I made 2 sub domains for the site. One is for the forums section
and the other is for the gallery section. 1> forums.zoebelkin.co.cc 2> gallery.zoebelkin.co.cc
Whenever I type these in the browser adress bar the browser gives an output that it cannot find the
web sites. But they are complete and should show something. Also using www. in front of the sub

How to access your files from a different machine? (0) I have a mac book pro and an imac at home. I have accounts of user 'sone' on both machines

But then, certain files won't let me transfer from my hard drive to the internet, or the other
