| | Hi, can i have all the FTP files reset so i had all the same i started with before any modifications
i made some problems and installation of sumthing wont work  |

So you pretty much want your hosting account wiped clean. So there are no files but the standard stuff, that comes with your account. You need to be more specific if you want them to do it.

Did you create a backup of your files? This is the best thing to do! Create backups using the feature in your cPanel, this will act as a system restore for your site in case of any errors in the future . QUOTE all the FTP files reset By reset do you mean you want to start ALL OVER AGAIN with a blank hosting account or do you want to restore your site a particular point in history?

when u get ur first FTP you get a few files, i want those back, because i wont work without em, i unno why

Laos, as a spam patrol you're posting gibberish posts by not typing words correctly. Please use proper English words and complete sentences. And first of all, the rule of any support is that you have to identify completely what you situation is. Are you asking all files under your root directory, such as /public_ftp/, cig-bin, email etc? Or are you asking for all files under /public_html folder? Make your post clear and to the point so that others can help you. If you have deleted something that you should not have, the only way to get it to working as if it was from the beginning is to terminate your hosting and start all over.

Need help with running CGI on trap17 free web hosting (0) Hi. Im new to perl and CGI could someone tell me how to run CGI on trap17 free hosting. I have

saving it in notepad as "test.cgi" but it saved as a text document, named "test.cgi" I tried putting

Slightly Concerned About Web Hosting Applications
email addresses shouldnt be shown (7) Ive been thinking about this for a while, every since i did a search for my email address in google
(you should really try it, youd be surprised where your address turns up sometimes) I was lucky and
the only reference to it was here at T17 in my hosting app. But this concerned me... Many of the
folk here at trap are very intelligent and cautious people and dont like their email address being
splattered across the internet but that is what is happening because of the application threads. I
would like to ask if they can be made mod/admin only or if Jlhsalips email hidi....

Suspended Account
I need help and fast (1) My account was recently suspended because my hosting credits went below 0.00 days, this was totally
unintentional because i was away and didn't have access to a computer. It was a family issue.
Anyways i posted in the forums and my hosting credits are now 6.34 days, but when i try to log into
the c-panel it doesn't want to enter. It doesn't say anything about an error, the page
simply doesn't load. I don't know what the problem is and i want to use the same sub domain.
what should i do. do my credit have to go up to a certain number or what exactly is....

Default account can, but not created FTP account. (3) I have a bit of a strange problem that someone here may be able to help with. I am preparing my new
Trap17 account for my new site, and am setting up FTP access. I can login quite fine by using the
default login details, using my cPanel username and password as my FTP login credentials. However, I
have created a new FTP account using cPanel, giving access directly to the /public_html/ folder,
with a username of webmaster. Below is the result of a Core FTP session, which shows that my
