| | Well, having a password-protected forum obviously wasn't going to work - it would be too much of a hassle to try and inform every new member that receives hosting, and keeping track of who has been informed and who hasn't would just get too hectic.
The permission masks have been updated, so only users in the [==::HOSTED::==] usergroup can access the Hosted Members Area forum (as well as moderators and obviously, administrators).
This means that it is critical that if you receive hosting from Trap 17 that you are in this group. All members are added after their hosting account is created, but from time to time, a couple get over-looked and aren't added to the group. So if you have hosting and aren't in this group, please let me know so I can add you. |

Hosting Account Suspended
status shows i am non-hosted (2) hey friends help me out..... i wasn't active on trap17 for nearly two months ..... and i
don't know how much negative my credits went.... but now i am active again.... i thought my
account would be deleted... but it wasn't...i was glad to have logged in.. My website link was
working...i could see the Cpanel page.. i thought it was because my account was suspended. My
credits were 0...they were not negative as expected. i have increased them to 20 now....but still i
am not able to access my Cpanel account. obviously my hosting account is suspended...now ho....
Forum Member's Town Suffers Tornado
Wind and rain damage is extensive. (10) Just got back on line. Things have been quite a mess here for the last few days. On
Thursday night June 12th we had a tornado and 80+ mile-an-hour winds in my town. The tornado
evidently didn't touch all the way down to ground level as only very old, tall trees were
toppled or uprooted. Falling trees caused much damage to houses, cars, power lines and telephone
lines. Lost electric power for over 20 hours at my house and others still don't have power.
Thank heaven NObody was reported injured. The torrents of rain that accompanied this storm pounde....
Mysql, Php, Apache Downloads And Setup Was A Nightmare
Mysql, PHP, Apache (10) Mysql, PHP, Apache downloads were easy enough. Then came the setup process. This seemed to be an
endless mess of going back and forth trying to get the programs to work together properly. Finaly I
got them working after about 48 hours. There are great tutorials on the setup process, but only one
or two actualy were easy enough for me to understand. I would like to see if I was the only one who
