Well that is the question, and several sites are comfirming that story last week as the last of the major distributors of High Def decided to drop the HD DVD format. With that single event happening it would seem that Blu-Ray has won the war, and that being said, how will the prices fair on that little event? Since that was the major problem problem in this war is that those dvd players where very expensive, and I still believe that the big name players are about $200 a pop, and the movies themselvs were about $30 a shot. Since I started with the DVD format back in 2002 I have collected my fair share of movies, tv series and all that stuff, I don't feel like replacing them, which of course I won't, but the question that comes to mind how long before the low def dvds are discontinued and all that good stuff? Of course one website just bunked my price range of these players: QUOTE In 2006, according to the Consumer Electronics Association, the average player price was $500. So that just answered my question that the low def dvds will be here for quite a long time till these HD players are like less then $200, but of course getting these movies won't matter much since I don't have a HDTV and that answers that little problem for awhile.

You and me both, Saint_Michael. I've never really understood the hype about High-Definition, anyway. Especially since HDTVs and equipment are usually twice as pricy as the regular kind...

Finally. About time. BlueRay was the superior format to start with, so if HD-DVD had won, it would've just slowed down the speed at which technology is moving.

Help In High School
(5) Hello, I am going to be a freshmen next year, and it has occured to me that I have never had a
girlfriend. The closest I have ever had to one was on the last day a girl went to my school there
was a dance, so for the final song she told me she liked me and we danced, but then she left. That

mp3 and mp3pro and lame mp3. I just can't see the difference between those mp3 audio formats.
And another thing is there any difference between stereo sound and joint stereo sound coded in one

school. I ended up in the electrical shop and it was kinda fun. I mean, I didn't get along with

now continuing my education into electrical engineering. As for the environment, I only had academic
classes every other week and most of them weren't that hard. Now, I didn't dive right into

Bomb Threat At My High School!?

What Language Did You Take In High School?
I myself am a Latin Geek (17) I must say that I absolutely loved latin when I was in Highschool - my latin teach was Mr Vesely he
was pretty cool, a little odd looking, he had the weirdest goatee. I have some pretty fond

Need Help With Using Css
to format a SELECT list (11) I thought I had Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) pretty much under control, but this has me stumped.
What I want to do is format a SELECT drop-down list with a drop shadow as a background image,
similar to what I have done with the textarea shown below. As you can see, I can't it get to
work on the drop-down box. I can change the font color, font type, width and background color but
I can't seem to use a background image like I can for an INPUT box. I have tried various things
without success, can someone please show me a working example of where they have managed....

(3) I've got a Windows 2000 Pro machine with 96MB of RAM. It is a little slow to boot, but once in
Windows it's performance is terrible. If you look at the performance in Task Manager straight
after a boot then the Commit Charge Total reads 140MB (or there abouts). This figure never falls,
only increasing with each application that's run. (The Commit Charge Limit is 198MB) The CPU
