For people to join you web site, they need to know what they are joining!!! I think you should put more information about your web site on you home page, You need to advertise your web site, like go to all kinds of forums and tell people about your web site, ask other people to put the link to your web site on their web sites and that kind of stuff!!! p.s. You web site looks pretty good!!!

Firstly your homepage itself must contain an interesting stuffs for visitors, I suggest that photogallery, humour, chat, shoutbox and forum are a must for visitors to keep coming back to your site. Your site contains these links - home, sign up, login, more info. and contact us. Why should they sign up when there's nothing to gain. Gmail offering will not attract visitors, they may just sign up once and never come back. In fact Gmail is everywhere and its free too. Thirdly, you must advertise your site alot. When I click more of Nathan info. I got the following error: This is funny. I agree with the people above, you need A LOT more content, i mean what is the site for what is it about?? you should have decided this before creating the website, plan my friend its the only way for a successful website. 1. What is the 3Dolla Group?? 2. Template is simple and clean just add content to it. 3. I think you should make your profiles public, so you can build up more trust... well those are my suggestions good luck.

I'll tell you exactly what said on Jimmy's post when he asked how he could attract more users. The first thing you should do is follow nickmealey's recommendation: "include humor". Humor will get you far in life: everybody, especially members of the opposite sex, will be more attracted to you. Well, members of similar sex won't be attracted to you in a sexual way, of course. You can include things like jokes, and funny images in your site to attract people. One of the main reasons, in my opinion, why popular sites are popular is that they include what people want when they're bored, and those are humorous contents. Two examples are http://ebaumsworld and http://homestarrunner.com. Second, you can add a games section. Want to know why games are so popular? Try this with me: 1. Go to Google Suggest at http://www.google.com/webhp?complete=1&hl=en2. Type in "games" (without quotes) 3. Look at the number of results: 369,000,000. That means about 369,000,000 people get bored and want to play online games or know more about certain games. 4. Narrow down your search a bit to "free games" (again, without quotes) 5. Look at the results: 38,700,000 results. This means 38,700,000 people want to either play free games or download free games. 6. What to know how many people actually want to play games online? This means that when your site is perfect for presentation, you have to show a couple of good friends. Your friends will tell their friends, that is, if your site is worthy enough (you can make it worthy by using my suggestions), and before long, flocks of people will be coming to your site and wasting your bandwidth. There is an alternative to this, however. You can use the Search Engine Submit feature in your cPanel to automatically submit your site to popular search engines such as Google. Do this regularly to assure the best rank. Before doing this, however, you absolutely have to make sure your site is attractive. If your site looks anything like it does now (no offense intended), then when your site is truly good, people will not come because your subdomain will have a reputation of bad content. Speaking of subdomains, choosing a good subdomain will help you get more visitors. Think about it, which would catch your attention: a site that is full of attractive content like the aforementioned with a lousy subdomain/domain or a site that is full of attractive content like the aforementioned with a brilliant subdomain? I choose the latter. To sum up my post, you need: 1. Humor based content 2. Word of mouth/search engine 3. (optional) Goog subdomain/domain name By the way, you might want to double check all your URLs to see if they work before uploading your site because when I went to your site, none of the pictures work. Also, you can either change your background color or make your font darker because the contrast that you have now make everything extremely hard to read. When people get frustrated on a site, chances are that they will leave. Hope that all helps, and good luck on your site.

the site itself looks good, but what you need is for Search Engines to crawl your site, it doesn happen automactailly, I recommned that you post your site link on your trap17 signature, so when Google crawls the trap17 forum, it'll see your site link. Also, visit blogs and comment on them, and include your site link too. Within a few weeks, your site should be on Google. Another point, as other members have pointed out, is that you need to know what type of audience you are targetting, so you need to define what content you may want on the website, if it has nothing, people won't go there, because there's no point in that. again, a nicely designed site, but needs to keep the following points in mind.

i agree with all that has been said. once your site is ready, that is, when you have enough content to keep lots of people interested and you have a visually good looking site, you need to promote your site. submitting to search engines is good but you might want to go around to different online communities that have a similar type of theme as your site does. maybe establish yourself there a little and then give out the link to your site (or just post the link right away, but sometimes people wont pay as much attention to someone they have never heard from). i cannot see your site, for some reason when i click the link it takes me to microsoft.com... and also...  make sure it is off before you type. typing in all caps is really annoying.

Ok.. so i was talking to my friend mandi.. she owns a site similar to my http://have-heart.net one
and she said that there is a rummmor going around, about sites being miseriously deleted, and i

I am making a website for a friend, and he has asked me to have it so there needs to be a password
to access it. I'm making the website in Dreamweaver, and its an html website. So I need to know
