Hi, i just graduated from the seventh grade, and at my last physical, i was 5'6 tall. Is this normal? My dad is abot 6' and my mom is somewher around 5'8. im almost the youngest person, but almost the tallest in my class. i hate being taller than all the guys because it is almost impossible to get a date. (but luckily i have one. I'm so lucky!!!)

What is normal in Europe may not be normal in Asia (and likely isn't). You are who you are and what you are. People need to accept you as you are, tall or short, skinny or plump, smart or not... that's just the way you are...
like jlhaslip said, don't worry about how you look. Just worry about how you act, be yourself and be respectful. You don't want people to go out with you just because your beautiful, you want them to like you. Your looks will change in the future, you will not.
ahhh mermaid, how do u come up with this is this so important? well i can tell u that at ur age its normal to think that way, and in this world, i know its all based at looks, well it is in america, where i live its not the first thing, but anyway to stick to the topic,i think u have nothin to worry about, it happens alot that sodenly u grow realy fast faster than other kids ur age, its realy normal, i used to be very small, when i turned 15 i started growing alot, now i' m 6,4,but with u it can be u grow fast now and ,the next 10 years u' ll only grow about 2 centimeter or some, in my old class i remember a girl who was 1 head taller than me , and she never grew more than 5 centimeter after that lol, so u realy don't have to worry about this at all, its normal just enjoy being young, i do it every day
that should be not so normal as there are recommended heights for different age groups and races, so considering checking this out with your local doctor or something if you are too paranoid
Normal or not you are stuck with your height. The guys will catch up to you and probably pass you in time (some of them). Just takes some time for some people while others grow quickly. If guys don't go out with you because they are shorter than you that's pretty sad. Took me a while to start growing but I finally did and caught up to those who had grown when they were in 6th grade. It is normal at your age really if you think about it because what is really "normal" for that age varies so much that there is no normal.
Being normal depends on the society in which u live in.
Our physical looks maybe the first impression but it will not last. Whats important is how u carry yourself. How you move, talk or even how you smile. I think you will do fine, you can date with someone from your schools basketball varsity team.
Well, I guess things could be worse... After all, I have a friend who is 5'10. that would suck to be that tall, because guys who think she's pretty refuse to go out with her.

Probably these pronounced difference will dissapear in a couple of years. Maybe you have grown too soon, but you don't have to worry. Anyway, girls use to like boys taller than they, I guess it would be worst if you were the shortest in the class.
Height is something silly to worry about. Some girls just mature very fast (and since girls already mature faster than guys, there probably isn't many guys up to your height yet), just wait a few years and when the guys finally mature, you'll be someone looked-for because many guys like tall girls.
I was 5'5" at the end of seventh grade, so I understand. Ironically, this is my current height, so now, when it's good to be tall, I'm short. ::sigh:: My brother, on the other hand, was almost 6' at that age; he's freshman in high school now and is like 6'5". Since boys tend to grow much more slowly, he has TOWERED over everyone for so long...often I would see his friends and wonder why he was hanging out with little kids. So you're definitely not alone, some people just grow taller faster. It can be annoying, but it's normal. And luckily, our society doesn't attach a stigma to it...unlike being overweight, there is no shame associated with it. So be proud!
BMI is very inaccurate and is an outdated tool developed by the government to track statistical data. It does not take into account body composition, so most elite athletes with extra muscle mass and little bodyfat will register high on the scale, and anorexics low on the scale.
The best thing to do is get your bodyfat percentage tested. You can do this yourself with hand calipers, or find someone to do it for you (many health clubs have this service). Impedence scales and other such devices are very inaccurate, so calipers are your most accurate and viable means (total water immersion is actually the most accurate but not viable for most people).

It is the contrary with me.. I look so young even though I am legal enough to drink and drive (Not at the same time ) When I go to the movies or go out to a club with my boyfriend... They ask for my driver's license
If it makes you any happier.. I have a younger cousin, she is 14 and she is already 5 feet 11 inches... When we go out together she looks like a giant while I look like a midget Reminds me of Full Metal Alchemist..
But despite all of this I am very proud of my height 5 feet 1 inch . I can crawl through tiny places and get discounts at the amusement parks

Thats not that bad for someone just finishing 7th grade. That was about my height then. I grew the most between 8th and 9th grade when i went from like 5 and half to 6 ft in a summer. Just wait til you do the same and have to get all new clothes because nothing fits.
the secret for all avoiding all the normal disease away from you is just to drink around one liter
of fresh water early in the morning before doing anything i mean before even going to toilet. i
know it is very dificult to drink this much of water straight away but start with 200ml and
gradually increase the quantity and you will see a glow on your face you will be full of energy and
away from all normal diseases.....
I made a form with Coffeecup Form builder and embedded it in a HTML file. I have now uploaded all

Hi all, this is a two part post, firstly how do i get my DIV to go the full length of my page
without specifying its height in pixels? My first thought is by using a percentage height but it
seems to have no effect on the DIV. I ask because of this page http://www.shadows.trap17.com/ww/
that i created. Now im using 128Ox8OO res at the moment and with my current use of BR tags i can
extend the div down to the bottom of the page, only in firefox its a few pixels too short and in IE
its a few too long so i get scrolling in IE and a grey gap in FF, not good for a website ....

It's a short notice but server admins decided to perform a routine maintenance to our cPanels.

Oke here's what hapend, a frend of mine created a new game and I wanted him to configure it for
me so. I created a ftp account for him. And tried if it workd, it dident tried to login couple

Does anyone know how to make the height of a div in firefox equal to the percentage you input? For
example if I put blablabla the div container will only be as high as the text makes it, when in
internet explorer it does make it take up 100% of the page or whatever height in percentage I input
in it. by the way, html, body {} have 100% height in them, so does the container that has the div
element. Example: html,body {height:100%;} #container {height:100%;} #div {min-height:100%;} the
one called #div is the one I want with 100% height. Thanks for any help.....
I just got a fresh idea on my new site. I got every thing planed out, the content and the colours
i'm going to use for the layout. But osmething else came to my mind. I have seen site when if
the text is bigger, the hegiht of the layout increases, without affections the layouts design. A
good example would be blogs, where when you make more entries they go down the page rather than
making new pages. I did think about i frames, but that is not what i was looking for. I dont mind
if it is in PHP, as most of my site is.....

Today i set up my account with your wonderfull service, and i noticed the many features that you had
well i had created a chat feature but realised that a forum would be easier to maintain so i went
into the Mysql Databases option and deleted the chat thing. Well after that, i noticed that Disk
usage 3.11 / 150.00 MB, the disk usage has gone up even though i removed the service, i am confused
as to why it went up and how come it is happening. Is there a way for me to remove this 3 mb? Also
is this normal, that it goes up? Can someone please answer this as soon as possibl....
OmG!!! i got astounted when i noticed that Optware is designing a disc capable to store
upto 300 GB, also file transfer rates are quick enough to burn the entire disc in less than 30
minutes!!! But theres a small problem.... the reader drive too expensive: $2700and
