am i allowed to upload a forum? one that is all coded in php, not a service, a completely scratch forum. the company who made the templates is simplemachines and its an smf. it just documents, i just need to know if i can use it.

also, it doesnt let me access files i have uploaded...

Yes, you can use Smf with trap17 hosting. I am currently using it. If you would like proof visit www.xboxmodz.co.nr. At the time my site is suspended but it should be up in a few hours. If you need help with anything i will do my best to help you out with it.

wow, you are going to be my life saver!!!! can you tell me how you uploaded it. because when i upload it to a directory called smf, then try and load the installer, it doesnt load. then i tried to do the webinstall and the didnt work. actually non of the files that i have loaded work. lol. so i need help starting there...

    I have been trying to validate my site with xhtml 1.1 and I am supposed to serve it as an
    application vs. text/html... 1. It recommends changing to .xml or .xhtml extension but when I do
    this in my home folder it doesn't recognize the extension and calls is text/generic. 2. Yes, i
    have added the mime type in apache, but I don't know why it doesn't recognize it?? It
    recognized a pearl script I made. 3. I also tried adding a perl script to the top of my pages to
    declare mime type but it doesn't seem to be working. How can I get cpanel to recognize these ....

    Before I was able to login within my Cpanel without problem but now I try to login and it states
    "Login Attempt Failed!" which makes no sense. I made sure nothing was written incorrectly within
    the fields but yet I get this error. ;-; I hope I wasn't hacked or anything.... anyone has any

    Hi All few weeks ago I bought two DDR (not DDR2 i have old motherboard and i don't feel i need
    to update it) 256Mb RAM while I had just one 256 Mb RAM. now from time to time computer crashes,
    showing blue screen and it says it's dumping memory in physical memory or something like that.
    (also the other typical massage that if you recently installed a hardware disconnect it and ... )
    my friend told me it happens because i bought different brand of RAM than I had before so the old
    one is not compatible with new one and i have to exchange the old one and get one f....

    i have a old computer that i was messing around with, a windows ME, and the processor is a pentium 3
    i had another pc that had a better cpu but when after i installed it the pc stays at the hp screen
    and the os doesn't boot. I even put the old cpu back in and the same thing happens. i think i
    may have bumped the graphics card more than i should have but i don't know does anybody know
    what the problem could be?? thanks....

    I need urgent help! When i recieved my email for comfirmation of my hosting account - i went to
    trap17.com/manage/index.php. Logged in and created a hosted account. At the top of it it said "There
    were problems creating your account! Please Contact Administrator. " But i went to my website
    flashy.trap17.com and it was created. But now the only thing is my hosted credits were not set
    back to 0.00 and my group is still Members - not hosted. HELP ME PLEASE!! i dont want to
    get banned....

    Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone around here has successfully installed Joomla on their
    Trap17 web space. If so, what was your solution to the session save path dilema? I attempted to make
    a custom php.ini with no luck and also attempted to edit the htaccess.txt file. All of these
    solutions yielded no result, my session save path is still not set, and I can't properly install
    Joomla 1.0.13. Should I try using 1.5 RC4? I doubt that would matter, any advice or help is greatly

    ipb forums today on the host I got this error: Not Found The requested URL

    Hi, I am tring to install a 100GB External Hard Disk Drive onto my laptop. I plug the drive in
    through USB and it makes the hardware connect noise then about 5 seconds later it makes the hardware

    installation. But, i used an External Conversion kit and made it an external drive. I have already
