Hi there, So I applied for an account a few days ago, and I waited for my validation email. So I wait, and try to post and wait and try to post, with no luck at all. So I dump all of my email in to boxes other than inbox, and I trash my junk mail (200+ messages a day). Afterwards I press the "resend registration" button that I found. I go to check my email. There is nothing in the inbox, but 12 junk mails. Checking the junk mail I see 7 entries from name (in various formats and spacing) "Free Web Hosting". One of these is from Trap17:D WOOHOO!!! I found it, now I have something to post. This message:D Have fun guys...watch for that pitfall Kristofer Hoch ----------------- "Every post is exactly the same. Only the content is different"

hmmm i think this would better belong in general discussion or if it had a 'moral' such as "Be sure to check your junk mail for registration email" it could go into the Support forum i suppose......

The email is a simply a formality and is pre scripted with the users account information so that the admin does not have to send hundreds of private messages and look up account info your the users. Basicly the email just provides the link www.trap17.com/process but has no other bearing as the hosting account/upgrade has already been approved at that point.
