The fact that all of their songs are so simplistic also bothers me. I'm not arguing their talent, but from what I see on stage/on the radio/on MTV it doesn't look like there is much work put into the guitar, because most of their songs have at least three power chords in every verse and chorus. I guess I'm the only one that this irks, but I can't stand how they're making so much money off doing something that anyone who has played guitar for a reasonable time can do... And then people have the nerve to call them punk.
I agree, Greenday are crap.... But, so are Metallica... those money grabbing copyright retards.

I really don't like any new music these days. It all went down the tubes during the last few years to answer your question yes I hate Greenday's music and I am tired of everyone obsessing about them and constantly playing there music. If people would just not play it every time I come to their house there would be no problem. I don't bug my friends with music they hate.

Most defintely, I don't like metal/rock music in general, but I hang out with a few white people, and they have these Greenday CD's and MP3's, and i'm like MAN, turn that crap off PLEASE, and they're blasting it all loud i'm like dude, if you're gonna spend lunch break doing this, i'ma hop in the car and run to taco bell. I don't like rock music really at all besides some Nickelback, and some various artists like Dave Matthews.

Why do you hate them so much. You didn't give any reason other than they can't sing and they wear mascara, Drag queens wear mascara and you don't hate them. Then again neither can bob dylan by some standards.
Be more specific. I hate Green Day's American Idiot Album. Why because it has no dynamic range.
What is dynamic range? The difference in volume between the loudest and the softest part. If you get up American Idiot in audacity. Just look at the waveform (The visual representation of the music's "volume") It is on, then it stays there, drops once or twice, and then finishes. It's just there.
It's really not their fault completely. It's the old "I want my song to seem louder than yours" you can't exceed X in any medium (CD, Radio etc.) but you make it as loud as possible.
I'm sick of people hating bands for no reason and then whinging about it. Bands are people who work their butts off trying to be original artists are out there trying to be inventive, come up with something new.
Don't say hate. Say not like, or dislike. To me hate is if your loved one was drowning in a car and you hate someone, if that person you hate is the only person that will save them you would rather watch them die.
But that's just me. Be fare to musos. Someone telling them that they hate them (for no particular reason) can stop them from becoming the next bob dylan or metalica. try to deliver constructive criticism.
Green Day does not **** for many reasons. 1. Billie Joe is a good singer, guitarist and great writer. He has a good voice he just doesn't show it. 2. They haven't dressed like that their entire career, when Dookie came out they were wearing normal clothes. 3. Mike Dirnt is one of the greatest bass players of all time.(Just listen to Longview and Welcome to Paradise.) 4. I have no problem with Metallica and Pantera, but you should give Green Day a lot of credit because they have inspired tons of kids and bands. 5. Although the eyeliner is bull****, their reinventing themselves like tons of artists do so they can still be fresh an people will still like their music. Now Fall Out Boy and Good Charlotte.........., but don't say Green Day sucks because they will go down in history as one the greatest punk bands and maybe greatest rock bands of all time.
I like a few of green day's songs....but they r all old....their "time of your life" was really gr8....simple n just gr8... they haven't come up with anything good these days ...the same goes with metallica n all d others bands that have been named........
I agree any one is entitled to there own opinion but i dont see anyone here selling like 5 albums and 1 of them 10 Million sold and another 5 million sold. Green Day is my favourite band andif you actually listen to there songs you can notice the bass

Well, at first I didn't have a problem with that- people coming to look at our house. But what
happened today changed that. For anyone who has ever moved/sold their house, you know what having

I go to the doctors to get a physical one day, and this doctor had no idea what to do. So I was
sitting there while he kept going back to the main desk thing to ask what to do, or what something
was. It ended up taking me 4 hours to get a dang physical. And my Aunt got SJS(Stevens Johnson
Syndrome), she is in the hospital now. And there is not a single specialist at any local hospital,
so she is just laying there in a bed, hooked up to a Dialysis (does the work for her Kidneys). And
yesterday the doctor's told us her heart was failing, but she is still alive and it&....
This is some part of my school's rule about absency : 1. Bell rings at 6.50 AM 2. Student is
late if he/she come at 7.00 AM or later 3. Student whom late cannot go into classroom and must
stay at detention room untill next class begins I'm sure I've learnt those rules carefully.

i have this chemistry teacher and she keeps finding new mays to piss me off. the whole school was
doing a project for chemistry, and i was asked by a teacher why we werent doing it.(it was during an
after school credit recovery program). i told her that my chem teacher didnt assign it to us. they
said that there was no way because the whole school had it. so they asked one of my classmates in
regular school and he said no too. then they started talking about it. and one of the teachers said
that they heard my chem teacher didnt think my class could do it. i got really ma....
OK I use the bus for transport right to get into the city, It takes so long about 40mins or more to
get into town and I have to sit near people who stink from body oder. Come on take a bath please lol
you don't have to use fancy perfumes to cover up the smell but at least do something to reduce
it. The next person you site next to isn't guaranteed to be smell impaired. Maybe wash them

It isn't really the cold so much that bothers me, it's all the things that the cold causes.
I can bundle up in enough clothes to deal with the cold, but then there is the problem with even
that. Laundry! Tons of it! Stop and think about how much more room in the washing

Well this is in general a complain to free hosts, not about this 1 keep that in mind havent used it

These final days of school are starting to become painful as hell. Every class I'm not doing so
hot in, and nothing I do works. Sure I'll spend 4 hours on a project, but its not right, sure

Who here hate smokers? I mean, they go into a restaurant, sit in a non-smoking section, and smoke,
ignoring the sign. I also want to tell everybody that 2nd hand smoking is actually worse than the
smoker himself smoking it. In Houston, the mayor has already banned smoking in restaurants. Well,
you know my vent, I hate it when people smoke right in front of you while you're in a casual
conversation. I can't stand the smell. I know I can't just cover my nose so I usually just
