| | I thought it was a horrible ending, and the book was more of a effort to get through then an actual enjoyable experience. I don't read books when I know what's going to happen, and unfortunately the entire book was predictable. Also, the entire middle part of it, I thought it was useless. It seemed more like padding then anything else.
Still, for good or bad, the series is finally, and thankfully over. |

I loved the book, but i think some people doesn't like enough because of the last cap. In the nineteen years later, we know that Harry married Giny, and Ron married Hermione, that they had three children, and thats all. But Rowling doesn't tell what profession Harry chosse, like auror, or something else, there are many aspects that are not telled in the book, and i think that she will write another book...

Anyways, I don't think she'll write another book, but I think that Harry just.. Does nothing? That'd be really boring, though.. =D

Mhmmm... where should I start? First of all I must say that J.K.Rowling is a wonderful writer that has thrown a spell on all the children and adults that are reading her books. She is very clever and creative, I really love all of the wonderful things she writes about! She carries this amazing gift... that she are able to "connect" the different books, chapters, words and everything in a way that I certainly never would manage. I were sad when I was finished with the last book. Of course I am kind of happy for Harry and the rest of the crew, but it is just sad that the whole thing is over. I would wanted her to write a longer last chapter... it did not give out enough information for me. It ended so quickly, to quickly.

What can be said about book seven? Yes, there was some predictability; the mission of the seventh book had been laid out in book six. Was Ginny going to go against her established character and accept Harry's choice as the final word? Not a chance. Was Harry really going to walk alone on his journey or be a sole combatant in this fight? Again, no. Book seven did what it needed to do, wrap up a story that had started to become painful back in book five. One of the things I most apreciated about this book, or rather her skill in writing it, was that even as the story stayed with Harry, as it had to, it gave us glimpses of the struggles and heroisms of the other, less immediate, characters around him that made his mission possible. At the end I find that while I would enjoy more works by J.K.Rowling in this fascinating world she has assembled piece by piece for us, even more works about Harry, I don't think I would enjoy another saga revolving around Harry. To successfully pull off another extended story arc I think she would have to draw upon either her secondary characters or introduce a new cast to fascinate us.

QUOTE(Ridwan sameer @ Nov 8 2007, 07:16 PM) Well this is a good idea. I only read the last part of the book. It says:-
At the last it says something like. " Harry Potter waves as he says good bye to his son as he leaves the hogwarts Express"
That is something like what it says right at the botto. And thyta you shouldn't have said about them getting married and all. It is a spoiler for people who only watches the movies and also for people who are going to get the book. Use spoiler tags next tie such as this hhmm, i agree should of had a few last chapters of what has happen, job, future plans etc. QUOTE(danielscottisilva @ Jan 23 2008, 04:23 AM) I loved the book, but i think some people doesn't like enough because of the last cap. The Great Gatsby And The American Dream
Warning, Long Read and Essay (4) F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby is much like an onion. On the surface there is the hard outer
layer, but to really understand it, one has to dig into the fresh insides. On the surface of The
Great Gatsby Fitzgerald portrays a romantic love between a man and a woman, but inside the real
meaning is much deeper. Fitzgerald depicts the 1920’s as a time of decay social and moral values,
evidence of this is the greed and the pursuit of pleasure. Jay Gatsby’s constant parties epitomized
the corruption of the American Dream as the desire for money and worldly pleasures ov....
All Quiet On The Western Front: The Effects Of War
Warning, Long Read Essay and has spoilers (0) In All Quiet on the Western Front, Erich Maria Remarque progressively shows the brutality of war
through the eyes of soldiers claiming their innocence. Remarque describes the war as a beastly
adversary to these soldiers; furthermore he depicts the killing of enemy soldiers as a game for the
Germans. Throughout the duration of the book, Paul Baumer, the main character, is portrayed as a
once innocent adult that becomes emotionally desensitized by the war. The goal of All Quiet on the
Western Front is to show how unromantic war truly is. War novels are known for emphasizin....
Harry Potter!
(4) I just simply love the books, I've read every single HP book and seen all the movies that are
out at the moment. Here is a quick plot from wiki if you don't know who I'm talking about,
But of course you would =] QUOTE The story opens with the conspicuous celebration of a normally
secretive wizarding world; for many years, it has been terrorised by the evil wizard, Lord
Voldemort. On the previous night, October 31, Voldemort discovered the Potter family's hidden
refuge, killing Lily and James Potter. However, when he attempted to murder their toddler....
Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows
talking about the book itself and thoughts (10) Well, I figured I mine as well make the post for the book. I know Albus is probably reading it
considering his screen name is named after the former character. Anyway, I've read a few
articles about it and have heard that people are pretty satisfied with the ending. The storyline
has changed so much as Harry has grown older. I've also read though that there is lots of death
occurring throughout the book, but of course I guess that is part of the name. I purchased my copy
last night and have started reading chapter one. Please post what you think of it but ....

Harry Potter Is The Source Of All Evil.
(26) Not in the world, but in the series. Here is my synopsis: Oh yeah, it's kinda spoiler
intensive, so if you have not yet read the books, you might not want to continue reading. Hmm,
wonder if this board has spoiler tags? Book 1. Killed a teacher at the the school he attended.
Arguments against: He was preventing the capture of the stone, and He was a dark wizard anyway.
Arguments for: If Harry did not persue the stone in the first place, it would not have needed
prevent the capture! Even if the enemy you are killing is evil, they should be held alive for ....

films are made for a young audience And books 1 and 2 are also made for a young audience But beyond
that the books contain some quite adult themes, and were definately written with a more &....

The 6 Horcruxes
Another Harry Potter thread ! (13) What do you reckon the 6 horcruxes will be then... Obviously we know the diary was one And the
locket from the Black house was probably the one dumbledore and Harry went to find The ring that
dumbledore destroyed (we don't know much about that really) Something of ravenclaws, hufflepuffs
and gryffindors? Dumbledore thinks that voldemort used nagini the snake to kill the old man in the

went to kill Harry. Dumbledore also thinks that voldemort planned to make a horcrux w....
Ultimate Harry Potter Spoiler
Read spoiler at your own risk (10) Harry Potter Spoilers Read spoiler at your own risk Alright now here is MY
theory on the whole "Snape is innocent, no shut up, he's guilty" thing: I was reading a
transcript of an interview that J.K. Rowling gave to some newspaper or magazine, I'm not sure
which, but it was about the guy asking her if she liked Harry Potter : Prisoner of Azkaban, the
movie. According to Rowling, she got "goosebumps" after watching it because it revealed a major
spoiler for later in the series (i.e., book seven). Today, I was watching Prisoner of Az....
Harry Potter 6 Spoilers!
Warning: Harry Potter 6 Spoilers (21) Yesterday, I was re-reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince , and I have deduced that
Snape's allegiences indeed lie with the Order of the Phoenix. Here is why: At the top of the
Astronomy Tower near the end of the book, Dumbledore admits to Malfoy that he knew about the mission
Voldemort entrusted to Malfoy. However, he knew that Malfoy is not a murderer and therefore would
not kill dumbledore, so he asked snape to kill dumbledore instead so that Malfoy would not be killed
by Voldemort. Coincidentally, Snape had made an unbreakable vow to Narcissa Malfoy ....

Harry Potter and you can't do nothin' bout it, ye hear?! Indeed. So here is my theory
for Book 7, which I heard from an unconfirmed source but it is still kinda fun: There is another
prophecy concerning Harry that he does not know about, which again was forseen by Professor
Trelawney and told to Dumbledore around the time the first prophecy was made. But surprisingly, it
was about Harry's romantic destiny, not Voldemort. Dumbledore decided not to tell Har....
Harry Potter 7 Theories
Sorry to bombard everyone with HP btw. (50) So, what do people actually think's going to happen in the last book, now the sixth one is out

think? Or do people just read the books and take in what happens then?....

also once I have finished one I sooo much want to read the next book. Was just wondering now which
one you like best (out of the five)? I think I like the third one most (the prisoner of Azkaban).
