Eragon and Eldest are pretty good books, but I don't think they are as good as Harry Potter. The Eragon movie was okay, but I really suggest that you read the book before seeing the movie (this goes for anyone who is thinking about seeing the movies). I just think the movie cuts so many important key elements from the novel that take away from the whole plot, but I still thought the movie was good. As for Harry Potter, I think this series got me to start reading a lot. I never use to read many books prior to reading the Sorceror's Stone, but I don't think I would have read the book without seeing the movie first and getting hooked on it. I am absolutely dieing for the last book in the series to come out. I personally believe that Dumbledore is still alive, despite JK Rowling's assertions that he is truly dead. What if he has the properties of a phoenix? We are not sure that he does not have this magical ability. Not to mention, what was up with Snape's Avada Kedavra curse? Is it not true that, when cast, the Avada Kedavra curse kills the victim instantly and not levitate the person in the air? Why did Dumbledore happen to levitate? Odd, if you ask me....

Harry potter is a really good series but I wouldn't say that it's my very favorite. I like all the action-packed stuff like Harry having to watch his back 24/7, but I've read better books, no offence to hard-core Harry Potter fans.

Mine best book ever is the Harry Potter. I have all its series in my book rack, I read all of that and now I am waiting for the latest edition of the Harry Potter. I go through all the Harry Potter series and read it twice and thrice. Its a wonder full and amazing to read this books. its not only fill us with action but also makes our mind full of joy. Each time we have a new story to read. Although its a famous book among the children but it also soon to become famous among the elder ones too. They also interested to purchase and to read the Harry Potter books. As a well wisher of Harry Potter I hoped he will live long and defeat all his enemy, as I heared that he will died in the eight series of the Harry Potter. The popularity of the book is so much that is now to published in different different languages in different different countries. This book has established his own great market in the world and make the writer a millioner. Although it is a great book to read.

Harry Potter is too long, it starts to be boring already, if it was a little shorter or there will be different setting, not the Hogwarts all the time it would be more interesting, I guess.

Well I do agree that it is way to long. The author (J.K. Rowling goes into way to much detail which makes the book enormous and makes it way 30 pounds!!!! It would be more prefferable if it were shorter. But the setting, Hogwarts, seems pretty cool. I like the magic packed school. It also has a huge and long history, some bad and some good. I think Hogwarts makes a pefect setting.

I wouldn't say harry potter books are the best books ever, just the best ones that I've read so far. (: They're filled with action, and things that are so different than books that I've read. It makes them unique? More interesting to read then books that are similar to each other in plot and such. But the harry potter books do have some sort of plot in it that repeats itself, like voldemort coming back and such. d: But then, that is the point of the book, kind of. Harry vs Voldemort, right? Correct me if I'm wrong. XD

I can't wait for book 7 (at Slovakia it will be at september), yet at the same time I don't want it to end. I usually read through a book in a few days, but I guess I'll have to pace myself on this one to make it last. I'm really hoping that JK Rowling doesn't kill Harry... but I suspect that if Voldemort is to die, than Harry does too. Although, does that put an end to the good vs evil struggle, once and for all. I'm going to re-read book 6 this week to refresh my memory with the details of that book. Because I'm not reading any spoilers please don't tell me what will happen

Harry Potter: The Deathly Hallows
WARNING: MAY INCLUDE SPOILERS! ONLY READ IF YOU HAVE READ THE WHOL (18) I was wondering, can this be a discussion for the seventh and final book of the Harry Potter
series? Because I really want to talk about it. Great book! Do you think that the ending is a
bit.. predictable? I mean, it was kind of obvious (to me) that Hermione and Ron would
eventually.. Marry each other? As with Harry and Ginny. But I like Harry's kid the best, the one
that looks like him. Albus Severus, right? Or was it Albus Snape? Hmm.. I remember it was Albus

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows
talking about the book itself and thoughts (10) Well, I figured I mine as well make the post for the book. I know Albus is probably reading it
considering his screen name is named after the former character. Anyway, I've read a few
articles about it and have heard that people are pretty satisfied with the ending. The storyline
has changed so much as Harry has grown older. I've also read though that there is lots of death
occurring throughout the book, but of course I guess that is part of the name. I purchased my copy
last night and have started reading chapter one. Please post what you think of it but ....
Harry Potter(7) And The Deathly Hallows
Lets talk about the last book! (spoiler warning) (31) As all Harry Potter fans may now: The last book is coming out soon. It is going to be released July
21th. I found some unresolved plot info from the previous books on Wikipedia *****SPOILER*****
: QUOTE * Harry will return to the home of his non-magical (Muggle) relatives, the Dursleys
(whose cooperation has been requested by Albus Dumbledore), during the school holiday. The magical
protection Dumbledore arranged, which requires Harry to have a home with them, is set to expire when
Harry comes of age (see below).HBP Ch.4 * Harry plans to visit the remains ....
Harry Potter Is The Source Of All Evil.
(26) Not in the world, but in the series. Here is my synopsis: Oh yeah, it's kinda spoiler
intensive, so if you have not yet read the books, you might not want to continue reading. Hmm,
wonder if this board has spoiler tags? Book 1. Killed a teacher at the the school he attended.
Arguments against: He was preventing the capture of the stone, and He was a dark wizard anyway.
Arguments for: If Harry did not persue the stone in the first place, it would not have needed
prevent the capture! Even if the enemy you are killing is evil, they should be held alive for ....
For Harry Potter Haters
(6) Don't be so stupid as to say 'omg I well hate harry potter - I watched the movies and they
were boring so I just didn't bother with it ever again! its just for kidz lolz'
That's simply ridiculous The books are almost completely separate things from the movies MOST
people who have read the books dislike the movies anyway I agree completely that the Harry Potter
films are made for a young audience And books 1 and 2 are also made for a young audience But beyond
that the books contain some quite adult themes, and were definately written with a more &....

The 6 Horcruxes
Another Harry Potter thread ! (13) What do you reckon the 6 horcruxes will be then... Obviously we know the diary was one And the
locket from the Black house was probably the one dumbledore and Harry went to find The ring that
dumbledore destroyed (we don't know much about that really) Something of ravenclaws, hufflepuffs
and gryffindors? Dumbledore thinks that voldemort used nagini the snake to kill the old man in the
riddle house and then turned her into a horcrux, because voldemort was one horcrux short when he
went to kill Harry. Dumbledore also thinks that voldemort planned to make a horcrux w....
Ultimate Harry Potter Spoiler
Read spoiler at your own risk (10) Harry Potter Spoilers Read spoiler at your own risk Alright now here is MY
theory on the whole "Snape is innocent, no shut up, he's guilty" thing: I was reading a
transcript of an interview that J.K. Rowling gave to some newspaper or magazine, I'm not sure
which, but it was about the guy asking her if she liked Harry Potter : Prisoner of Azkaban, the
movie. According to Rowling, she got "goosebumps" after watching it because it revealed a major
spoiler for later in the series (i.e., book seven). Today, I was watching Prisoner of Az....
Harry Potter 6 Spoilers!
Warning: Harry Potter 6 Spoilers (21) Yesterday, I was re-reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince , and I have deduced that
Snape's allegiences indeed lie with the Order of the Phoenix. Here is why: At the top of the
Astronomy Tower near the end of the book, Dumbledore admits to Malfoy that he knew about the mission
Voldemort entrusted to Malfoy. However, he knew that Malfoy is not a murderer and therefore would
not kill dumbledore, so he asked snape to kill dumbledore instead so that Malfoy would not be killed
by Voldemort. Coincidentally, Snape had made an unbreakable vow to Narcissa Malfoy ....

More Book 7 Theories (9) WARNING: SOME SPOILER DETAILS FROM BOOK SIX! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK! Haha, suckers. More
Harry Potter and you can't do nothin' bout it, ye hear?! Indeed. So here is my theory
for Book 7, which I heard from an unconfirmed source but it is still kinda fun: There is another
prophecy concerning Harry that he does not know about, which again was forseen by Professor
Trelawney and told to Dumbledore around the time the first prophecy was made. But surprisingly, it
was about Harry's romantic destiny, not Voldemort. Dumbledore decided not to tell Har....
Harry Potter 7 Theories
Sorry to bombard everyone with HP btw. (50) So, what do people actually think's going to happen in the last book, now the sixth one is out

others and they'll be all the magical creatures fighting each other etc. What do other people
think? Or do people just read the books and take in what happens then?....

Which one is the best? (16) The new Harry Potter (the sixth one) is already coming out (July, isn't it). I have just had a
chance to catch up with the Harry Potter books. They are all amazing. Once I started, I just
couldn't stop. Not only do I feel like I have to continue to read til the end of the book, but
also once I have finished one I sooo much want to read the next book. Was just wondering now which
one you like best (out of the five)? I think I like the third one most (the prisoner of Azkaban).
