I should buy a new grafhics card. A new 6800 will give you a lot of more performance than a ATI 9200.
And you can sell your memory and buy new, better overclockable memory chips. I recommend not to wait until the new socket comes out, because prices will be very high in the beginning. Just upgrade and buy some new hardware, when prices are low.
your system is pretty sweet on my standard and same with Erwin I would not upgrade it all for now. Changing the AGP would be the best option here, I am not so sure about the issues on your memory, could you provide more info on why you cannot overclock with it?
As for the CPU heatsink-fan, do you feel that the system or CPU really cannot cope up with the current one you have? Are you experiencing some instability problems? If not then I would also advice not to go into water cooling yet, this is of course if the present thermal solution can still hold.
Just get the video card. Thats all you'll need. If you want a bigger performance boost, you should get a new mother board that has PCI-express so you can get a better video card (nvidia 7800GT).
My recommendation is to buy a graphics card, and the best one I could find according to the price and speed is XFX GeForce 7800GT PCi-E which can also work in SLi mode. But if you have pretty high budget you might think about switching to 939 socket and buying a new motherboard supporting SLi. About your RAM - if it's not overclocking, it doesn't mean it's bad or anything, just to let you know you might be lucky enough to overclock some OCZ RAM with heatsinks, but if its some noname without heatsink - don't expect too much.
Well, my mom is buying me a graduation laptop and my budget is about $2500. This is the laptop

I'd ask for help. The speed and memory of the laptop is pretty much set at the speed it's
at (2.5GB L2 6MB, 4 GB RAM, 640GB HDD). Also I don't want to lose bluetooth either. So, if you

I know that generally you cannot upgrade a laptops graphics card! I am thinking of getting THIS
laptop and it has a good graphics card which according to Nvidia's wesite will be direct x10
compsatible but in the future I may want a new graphics card without a new laptop, is it possible
with this laptop because it has dedicated memory in the graphics card so i am not entirely sure as

I installed a new PCI Video Card for my PC and when I started to boot up the computer nothing came
up. Not even the BIOS system checks.I figured the video card I put was broken so I tried another
card, it worked. For some reason it won't boot up. Is there a solution to this problem?....

driver its very excellent ive been using it and find all drivers i wanted, the only thing is that
there's too many drivers variations and if u dont know the specific need it would be difficult

pretty decent gaming machine which the essencials consist of my Athlon 64 3000+ (754 socket), 1 GB
(2x512) ram, and a 6800 Non-ultra. The thing is though, the AMD X2s are really looking attractive

Hy folks, i've got a 250GB SATA Seagate Baracuda and pluged it in my box. It appears after boot

Hey people, I recently bought Halo combact evolved and installed it into my HDD but to my surprise,
I could not play the game due to VGA Hardware problems. I am using an nVIDIA RIVA 64 PRO/64M with
32 MB memory and it is running at 300MHz onboard processor speed with 1.4GB transfer speed. The game
complained that It is having probs with my VGA. I ran an analysis of my VGA with a system analysis
software called Everest Home Edition and I was able to detect that my VGA does not have a feature
called Hardware Transform and Lighting. I think thats the problem with t he ....
I want to overclock my computer, and I thought if I was to upgrade the BIOS, then maybe I could. The
whole thing is it is a prebuilt, and as you (should) know, you cannot overclock a prebuilt. So, my

ive had this laptop for like 3 years its a custom built one that i bought it has Pentium 4 2.0 ghz,

Hi, A friend of mine is having this really wird problems with his machine. He bought a computer
some months ago. I mean a good computer but one days ago his computer was shutting down something
like a power problem (i thought something like blaster). But the next days it worked without
problems. But new problems appeared, The computer now freezes after logging into XP and being there

Hi all, I have some old soundcard: AudioExcel Theatre, PCI,5+1... and after installing winxp sp2,
every time when i reboot, I have to enter safe mode and disable that soundcard because it wont boot.
Then when winxp boot's, I need to enable that soundcard manualy to get sound working...
Soundcard drivers are ok, and everything seems to be ok with card. Before sp2 everything was ok...
And I doubt that there are some newer drivers on internet... So anyone had some idea how to solve
