State Of New Mexico Dot
What a great program. (1) I was in Albuquerque New Mexico yesterday and had to stop along the freeway (I-25) to adjust the
load I had on my pickup. I no more got into the back of the truck and a big yellow truck with
flashing lights pulled up. He pulled up beside me and asked if everything was OK. I told him I was
okay just needed to adjust my load so it didn't fall out and create a problem. He told me that
was a good idea, thanked me and backed up to sit and warn other drivers with his lights. This is a
free service the State of New Mexico provides to all motorists traveling through Albuque....

Software with great interfaces (4) I really like using software that have very good user interfaces. Most mac softwares are really
good-looking (Adium, DeliciousLibrary) but most Windows applications are just plain ugly. I was

Science Fiction!
Is GREAT?! (7) I am a huge fan of sci-fi books. Arthur C Clarke, Robert A Heinlein, Isaac Asimov, the list goes
on... My favorite ones are the old dusty copies. The tiny books, yellowed with age, crisp to the

Great free host! (42) I've been using freehostia.com as a free web host for a while now. They have been very very good
to me. I actually have several accounts with them. Their system is set up very good. Easy to use
control panel. All kinds of good stuff. PHPMyAdmin is preinstalled. They have elefante script
installer which can install a nice selection of scripts like phpNuke, phpBB, OSComerce etc. The
thing I like most about freehostia is how clean it is for a free site. There are absolutely no

Why can I not make them happy? (13) These final days of school are starting to become painful as hell. Every class I'm not doing so
hot in, and nothing I do works. Sure I'll spend 4 hours on a project, but its not right, sure
I'll spend 2 hours on a 40 point homework assignment, and magiclly the book disappears. I
can't win, I can't do anything right. I wish I didn't start to see this until now and I
could have tried and stop my bad habits and train my forgetful mind, but right now is to late.

(50) I just finished playing runescape, and I have to say....its no that great. It is not compatible with
56K modems, and it downloads too much stuff onto your computer. The graphics arent very good either.....
