Just telling all of you about Halogen its a halo mod for Zero Hour and it looks pretty cool, although there is no release date it should keep some of you in suspense.

Micro$oft ordered the Halogen mod destroyed a couple weeks before announcing Halo Wars. The mod is now illegal, and the only way to download this mod is to find someone who has it and ask them to email it, or use similar peer-to-peer download means (like Torrent) to get it.
...And distribute the download from somewhere out of MS jurisdiction? You can't just say to hell with microsoft and bungie for attacking their own fan base. You weren't selling the mod, so how can they legally shut you down? See if I go out and buy halo wars until they let halogen resume. I'd encourage others to do the same. I really wanted to see that mod! badly.

As annoyed as I am by microsofts desicion to ban this awesome mod, I can see y from a business view. Look at the fan base halo has, an RTS was bound to come out. Why would they sit around and allow THIER fans to buy another companies game for a mod, based on THIER idea and loose all the money THEY could get from releasing another game. Ive seen companies making FPS games and totaly screw up their franchise by releasing an RTS based on the original FPS. As amazing as HALO is I think MICROSOFT are making the same mistake. I'm not sure about the legalities that gives them the right to ban the mod. Maybe the modders should ask EA for their addvice. Soz for long post.
Lately I've been frustrated with Halo 2 on Windows XP. So I wrote the following letter to VMWare

Okay, so i have a ps3 and I've been thinking about getting a xbox just for myself. I was
wondering what games i should get. I want the cool games like i want to see if call of duty 4 is

how many of you guys are gonna get the new halo 3 maps when they come out. Tramposch might know the
exact date because we were talking about it before, I beleive its gonna be 600 credits? But in
spring of 2008 when the next new halo 3 maps come out they will be free. The new maps look pretty
cool, there are screenies on bungie.com and xbox.com. According to bungie the third map, foundry
which doesn't look too special actually is. Its the first map to halo 3 that actually enhances
the forge feature which is new to halo 3, and making users be able to edit just about ....
what are some minor or major changes you would like to see in the next big update? Be specific. -I
would like the Assault rifle to have a longer reload time, as it is, it's almost like half a
second and it's just way to short. -The mauler, either completely removed or the spawn is
decreased because every map has at least 78967678 maulers. -More armor permutations. -Spartan
laser charge time reduced to 2 seconds, I understand it's anti-vehicle, but that doesn't
mean it should leave you helpless and bent over in a gun fight. -Snowbound, again, complete....

Does anyone know of the progress of the Halo Movie? I've heard from a few people that it was
cancelled and they gave me to a link to a site that said it was. But I noticed a few spelling

with the odd side of Halo, and see who wants to share some of theirs! First off, on 343 Guilty
Spark, I have found a place where, if you throw a grenade into a small crevice between the ground,
and a big metal slab, the grenade will bounce around indefinitely, never exploding. Also, on AotC,
before bringing the tank down the entrance to the tunnels, where the two hunters are, if you aim up
and place a few good shots on a balcony far, far up on the far edge of the leve....
I just read in a magazine that microsoft is not even considering doing Halo 3 for any xbox version
right now, which is great news those who think the game is corny to begin with like me /tongue.gif"

I think that half life series is better cuz its got better weapons and more storie to it than halo
but i am a big halo fan to but id have to say half life series is better and also half life 2 is so
much better than halo 2 no question....
The halo books are actually pretty good books there about 300 pages long each and their a good break
from video games the first one in the series is titled halo:fall of reach which is about how the
chief was trained and who started the spartan program and wat the chiefs real name is and his fellow
spartans book 2 is called halo:the flood which is a more detailed version of halo1 it talks about
wat the marines were doing while the chief was off killin everything and stuff like that more
backstory the third book is called halo:first strike this is about wat happens between....
Which one wins? Is it the signature XBOX game or the signature PS2 game. Both are shooters yet one

say that the Joy Frag gets a whopping ZERO on the effeciency meter. It was a *BLEEP* concept to
think that it would be some great invention to play H2 with your keyboard and mouse, for *BLEEP*s
sake, the handling is AWFUL.. Not to mention, this hunk of *BLEEP* runs for somewhere around fifty

A friend has setup an old site for halo trial mods which are map modifications that let you have
unlimited ammo, tanks, and much more stuff he has all the info on how to make mods or download his
and use them on the multiplayer part of the trial. url is mods.hopto.org there really fun to tool

I'll start: 1. How to make the needler decent, without making it any less needlerish Make
it's shots always reflect off non-target material. Make it so that whenever they reflect off a
non-target material, they will locate the nearest enemy and bounce off in that direction. Thus, this
weapon would not only be good for shooting around corners, but for flushing people out of cover. It

halo isnt that good at all even thought critics say alot of things just to create controversy.
microsoft thnks that they all pro and just coz they dominate the operating systems area doesnt mean
that they can produce quality games. not alot of ppl play halo with majority of gamers prefering to
stick with counter-strike because it can be run on practically any computer and doesnt require an
expensive upgrade to play it.....
