| | Hi, as you know I love giving away credits, and I was trying to think of the best competition for my upcoming one and I thought why not a hacking one? So, before I start working on it I wanted to make sure that it was allowed. I know trap17 doesn't support hacking "themed" websites, but thats not really what this is. Its just going to be a regular site and the competition will be to break my site by means of sql injection, js injection, and perhaps some other basic techniques. The first person to bring down the site will win. It is all for sport, no truly malicious attempts. So what do the mods say? Can I do it? |

Is the testing site on a Trap17 hosting server? Then the answer is NO! Your call for hacking your subdomain not only would inconvenience other Trap17 hosting servers (since it will knock-down other related services for other hosting members) but, even at an educational purpose, it is against our hosting AUP.

subdomain or domain? (6) ok this is my doubt: i saw that trap17.com offres two different hosting plans one of them is point
to trap17.NET with ADS and the other to trap17.COM with NO ADS is that right? if it is suppose i

The subdomain of my website? (2) Well, I need to know how to change the subdomain of my website...Right now my website is
www.musicstuff.trap17.com but I want to change it to www.darkdesign.trap17.com I do not care if

My Subdomain Doesn't Work
(0) I recently got approved for hosting. My subdomain is www.5k70sls.trap17.com but it doesn't work.
I double checked my cpanel info that the server generated and there's nothing wrong... I can
access cpanel via IP. But I have to also say, that my username for cpanel is "xeek". It's
different from my domain, so I wonder if that's causing the problem? So basically, the site
www.5k70sls.trap17.com is supposed to work, but it doesn't. However, www.xisto.com/~xeek works
fine! (I'm guessing that the domain xisto is also owned by trap17?) Can an admin....
