well, i have one here, though no one knows about it yet, and i don't know if i wanna release it. It is XMB. You can find a free download for it at XMBforum.com. It's a great message board, and it actually has some pretty nice clean looking pre-made templates it comes with. I enjoy it.. but like I said, I'm not sure if I wanna use a forum, period. lol

i would go for www.phpbb.com because that's open scoure and more plug-in allow you add into forums such as money or point system and custom advatar

I've been using SMF for a couple of weeks now. (You can install it through Fantastico in the cpanel) The cool thing about the forum is you can download and install hacks and mods through the package manager in the admin panel at your forum.

When I get my hosting  I will be uploading IPB 1.3 Final. I have been working with Invision Forums for a long time and I find them the best. They can still have alot of features such as a shop with bank and points system, arcade, downloads system (which I have tried and works a dream) You just need to edit a lot of files but its work it. Skins are not a problem for me as I have been skinning with different kinds of Invision Boards for almost 2 years  So all in all my forum will be IPB but not from fantastico as I find many files are missing from there  .

I use IntegraMod, a fully pre-modded version of phpBB... Yea Ima lazy bum lol but maybe later I'll add some mods and hacks myself

I'm making my own forum right now. It's reminiscent of the old GameFAQs layout and a site that must not be named, but it's not quite done yet. I use a pre-modded Vbulletin. I don't have it up yet because I'm fixing some problems im having with my hosting.. but we'll see what happens in a bit.

I'm almost positive that none of yo have ever heard about this, but here goes. I'm planning to create my own spinoff board based on the coding from Whitefrye and LUE2. The boards are fully PHP-customizable, and come with user levels, item shop, possibly a casino, a money system, a black market for users to sell their items on, and more. I'd post a link to lue2 so you all could see what the basic site will look like, but I don't want to get modded for spamming. Just do a search for lue2, and check it out. I used to use Proboards, but never got many members, so I'm giving this a try.

phpbb2 for me.. fast and reliable, the way i like  well everyone's likes.. lots of addons, mods, plugins, themes.. it comes with PHP-Nuke so if you want a complete site in just some seconds you can get it. Though more and more sites are getting ride of PHP-Nuke because of its security holes and.. lets say the true, every php-nuke site is equal. Only the blocks/modules design change. :wink:

i use xmb nexus 1.9. I find it very nice. I'm still open to other choices of course. Http://im-the-voices.net/whateverIts still growing. I don't host it on trap because i think it requires too much resources. lol. i don't know. i don' twant trap to go offline or anyone blame that its my fault. I have tried phpbb and installed it through Fantastico. It was nice. I liked some of the themes they had. and bunces of hacks too.

Why Do Hosted Members Need Posts Aproved In The Internet Forum?
This is deeply annoying. (4) Ive posted a few topics in the internet forum now, and its really annoying that hosted members (any
member in general but i understand about spam protection) need to have their topics approved. Now i

Host Problems
Need some help (7) Hey, recently ive applied and been accepted for a host. Now, i set up an account and then tried to
get to the access panel.. Didnt worked... I thought it might be because of my domain, so i got

There is a need (1) With Flash Player 9 on practically every PC, a lot of web developers are moving to Abobe Flex, Flash
and Actionscript as a development platform. I've seen a few posts related to the platform and I

Byet Host Is Bad!
(12) I used to use Byethost, they offered a great service 250MB of storage, good bandwidth, scripts

Great free host! (43) I've been using freehostia.com as a free web host for a while now. They have been very very good
to me. I actually have several accounts with them. Their system is set up very good. Easy to use
control panel. All kinds of good stuff. PHPMyAdmin is preinstalled. They have elefante script
