| | Recently, graphic novels have begun to become more widespread. They are even becoming accepted as something of the norm. Time magazine listed the graphic novel Watchmen on their list of "100 best novels from 1923 to present." Obviously, like novels not all graphic novels should be accepted as great literary works; however there are some graphic novels that have vast merit and grand educational value. Is it time for some graphic novels to be put alongside such classic literature as Siddhartha and Jane Eyre in the English classroom? |

What's everybodys thoughts on this one? (1) I have been listening to the media's take on the removal of the over 400 children from the
Mormon farm in Texas. A lot of it is rather disturbing to me. Just today they mentioned that they
had found signs of broken bones on I believe the number was about 40 of the children. But I think
they are really grasping at straws, trying to make these people look bad. These are farm kids, they
feed livestock, and do other farm work, is their percentage of broken bones higher than the national

Which is better Online or Offline Graphic Collections? (2) I just renewed my account with an online clip-art library ( http://www.clipart.com/en/ ). The
question I present: Is it better to use a clip art service online or to have a library on your hard
disk drive of your local computer (or on DVDs/CD-Roms)? I would rather pay an annual fee for
instant access to a large library of graphics than having to search out graphics from my Hard Disk
Drive or having to insert up to 30 CD-Roms trying to find a basket of strawberries. I am creating

Free Graphic Programs As Opposed To The Real Thing
(5) I am sure many of you have heard of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator and their "FREE"
competition, The Gimp and Inkscape. Personally myself I love all Adobe Software, but can't
afford any of it. Anyone here use The Gimp or Inkscape and can they show some of there work from it.
I have just recently started using the two, although I design my websites with Adobe Photoshop, but

Freelance Web And Graphic Designer

you don't know Winternal created perhaps the best computer dinositcs tool any computer person

Choosing A Graphic Card
(11) I'm interested in upgrading my graphic card (only months old) because it's too slow when I
play BF2. Currently I have a 256mb 64-bit GeForce 7100 GS. I want to get a 512mb GeForce card but
there's a 256mb card with a higher bit-count. I don't know the difference between RAM and
Bit. i want to be able to set all the graphic settings to high and still be able to play the game

are many ways to make a game. Programming languages such as java , c++ , javascript,
flash/actionscript and other languages. There are also loads of programs out there, recently i
bought a 3d gamemaker..its good. There are programs for making online games such as realm crafter or
dark basic trials...but one must know some coding. Then there is the very famous, mostly used online
