Not sure if anyone knows about this or not, but there's actually a really cheap, easy way to advertise, and it kinda works with the banner exchange idea. It has to do with META tags in the header section of your html. Here's an example from one of my sites: CODE

Basically what this does is that, according to what your site is about, will enable it to be spidered by the search engines, such as Google, much quicker. And, depending on the keywords you use, it may also enable you to move upward on the search list, since placement on many of the search engines is based on click ratio. Just something I thought you guys might find interesting.

Sorry to tell this to you, but Google does not anymore depend on meta tags to index your pages. It only scans the content of the pages. And this is being followed for a long time! Certainly, it is no harm to have a meta tag too, but don't have high expectations. Nothing can beat good content.

Oh, I already have good content; I was just trying to explain a way to help maximize the potential for your site to be "spotted", not only by Google, but by Alexa ratings as well as other search bots.

Site Disappeared Off Google?
(2) I have been promoting my site ChantellePaige.org like crazy, and all of the sudden it dissapeared
off google! it was one of the first links for Chantelle Paige fansite and on the second page for
Chantelle Paige in google; why did it dissappear?? i know it's a redirect with a
ChantellePaige.org frame (type in http://have-heart.net/chantelle and you will be redirected to
Chantellepaige.org where on the navigation bar all you will see is ChantellePaige.org enstead of
like chantellepaige.org/1 or something) but it seemed to be just fine on google, and now its gone&....

Custom Search Engine For Website
looking for alternatives to google (8) I'm trying to help my friend finish off a website for his client. Hes not very good with web

How Often Do You Use Css?
As opposed to using simple <font> and <div> tags (7) CSS is basically made to make your html coding a heck of a lot easier. However, sometimes I prefer
to use html instead of CSS since it sometimes gets frustrating to refer to the same old style sheet
and use an old font ID you made about a week ago. I find it a lot more efficient to just type out
the specified font color/style/size in the tag than to use an individual or for certain fonts

google apps (4) I personally use Gmail Apps + IMAP to use outlook 2007. it works for me. I get a free proffessional
email without the horrid text based look of gmail. There are better programs but i can't be
