Google have launched Google Checkout which will be used by Merchants to accept payments online. This
service is similar to PAYPAL and 2Checkout.com. Google is promoting this service using Google
Adverts. They are providing a full waive off for transaction charges for merchants using Google

Has anyone ever used scroogle http://scroogle.org/ > instead of google itself to protect your
anyomonity and strip the ads? It has a much cleaner interface stripped of ads. The only 2 downfalls
is that the main site does not look as nice as google(but the results page looks good), and the
maximum results it can show is 100....

I was just wondering if Trap 17 members would be interested in working on creating a new 'Google
Bomb'? If enough people join in, then it is very easy to do. We could work out what it would be
and what it could lead too later, if enough people are interested. You don't have to be hosted
with Trap 17 - you just need to have a web page that is crawled by Google. If your site isn't in
their database, then you can get it added here . Let me know your thoughts....

I think it would be sweet to have a Google operating system. I searched google for it, and all that
I could find was a bunch of people with the idea for them to make one. I think they'd be able
to make it run all the programs we have already for Windows, Linux, and Mac, and make it a lot
better. They could integrate it with the internet a lot better that other OS's. So, do you

Alright well I've got google notifier on my mac and it works great, so I decided to install it
on my windows partition as well. Well I am having problems with the windows version (Surprised?).
Anyway the problem is that it doesn't remember my username and password. The mac version stores
my account username and password in the mac keychain, but the windows version prompts me for my
account username and password every time I start up the computer . It completely defeats the

i read in the paper today that google bought out youtube.com this week for 1.65 billion dollars.
Now thats a big aqusition for google, and if im not mistaken, the biggest purchase theyve made
during theyre 8 years in business. this is a big change from when google was just a small search
engine way back in the day. but aside from that, dont you find it a bit odd that google bought
youtube, when googlevideo just started up not very long ago? let me know how you all feel about

For about one or two weeks my browsers(both internet explorer and firefox) were hijacked to some
degree by google. No matter what web address I would put in to either of them be it something like
www.yahoo.com or www.msn.com or anything at all I kept getting sent to an error page for Google
China and the only other page I could access was the Google China home page. Anyone else have this
problem or heard of it? I'm really interested in knowing wtf google screwed up on the internet,
or was this just a forceful advertising scheme by the Search Giant....
