| | I would suggest that you add an affiliates page or some affiliates stuff on other
websites...it would greatly increase your the amount of members you get a day
and it would get your name out there for everyone to see....Thats just my opinion.
Also, it would help other peoples websites get THEIR name out there...because
you guys have a good amount of members. |

I agree, so long as the affiliates are quality sites not just crap-vertisers. The more people that come, the better Trap17 gets for everybody.

A suggestion :) (1) Hey guys, I had a suggestion for the Lounge, and we might get more members. All GTA sites do it, so
why don't we do it, even though we are not a GTA or games fansite, but we hold various subforums

suggestion was, to add a "Fun & Off-Topic" forum, for forum games like, "Promote the user above

Suggestion About Email Notification
(1) I have a suggestion, make an option where you receive email notification when your credit balance
drops below X.xx credits, and to make the value you receive the notification from different amounts,
e.g Recieve email notification when your credit balance drops below a certain amount: Y/N The
amount before you receive notification: 1/2/3/4/5/10/15/20/25/50/100 credits. (or something

[suggestion] Allow Users To Delete Their Own Topic
Possibly only if there are no replies (4) I've had the following happen to me twice within the past few days: I struggle with a problem
for three or four hours. Eventually I give in and post asking for help. While I wait for the help
I continue working on the problem. An hour or two down the road I figure out the issue on my own.
As such, I no longer need the topic I created. I'd like to delete it so as not to waste
people's time (and clutter up the sub forum), but I don't have the privileges to do so.
Being able to delete your own topics would allow users to self moderate, and cut down on....
Suggestion: "buying" More Space
Use credits for something else as well... (5) I'm thinking of setting up a system of "buying" more webspace for your site, just like the
domain name feature. Say, if you pay 20 credits, you get another 100 MB of bandwidth for your site.
Or, if you pay 40 credits, you get 10 MB more space. What do you think? Sorry, could you change
the "buy" in the title into "buying"? It seems like I'm trying to promote a paid hosting site.

A Suggestion (0) Keyword Relevancy Addition to Board Rules & Guidelines? I recently became aware of
the importance of composing topic titles and descriptions in a manner conductive to attracting new
members via internet search engines by fully maximizing Keyword Relevancy. As it turns out,
composing topic descriptions with the intent of attracting new members from search engines is an
“extremely high priority” at this forum, even higher than getting hits from current members viewing

Fantasico Issue / Suggestion
Addon Script (3) I do not even know what fantasico is, and I dont plan on using it, however I clicked on it in the
Cpanel and I got this message... QUOTE The server was not able to find the document

might also want to report this error to your webhost. Alot of hosts offer a larger variety of
free scripts such as image galleries, blogs, and CMS.. particularily I was looking for the

Tutorial Index Suggestion
(5) A member (.nol) brought up an excellent point today. Index (table of content) of tutorials. An
easy way to browse what kinds of tutorials are available in Trap17--both general and GFX. The
simplest way of doing this is to generate RSS by sub-forum and then present it via Annex (for those
who do not know it's our Community page). Or, if OpaQue grants, I can include HTML code to
Tutorial Index forum post. Either way, it should be automated and updated according to RSS feed.
RSS is the easy part. What I would like for all members of Trap17 to do is think about how RS....
Limiting Max Number Of Credit Posts Suggestion?
(19) How about that Trap17 limits maximum number of posts that you can get credits for in one day? My

A Suggestion: Pm Or Email Us
(0) Perhaps you could PM or Email us when are hosting credits reach a certain level, reminding us to
post before the credits go out. Those who haven't got trap17 as their home page may forget to
post that day and get the problem of having to post again.....
Gfx Section Suggestion
(8) I think posting in the Showoff thread under the GFX Section should be counted for credits. That is
probably my favorite section. I am not making this suggestion for myself but the Showoff section is
really one of the major parts of the GFX section and it doesnt even count credits. I dont want
anyone to get mad at me for making this suggestion so if you dont like it then just leave it be.....

suggestion (2) hello,admin,mod and member... i got a idea because i found that there are many good topic which can
invoke member's interesting,who would like to be active here and reply those good post.so many
hot topic should be award IMO in order to promote member's enthusiasm and keep active in forum
readily and enjoyful. that so-called award is just add their credit a bit +1 or any other award
you are able to think out.there should be a fixed or pinned post to evaluate hot post and award
it,like SOTW in GFX section. we can find the most popular or hot topic per week or m....
A Suggestion To All Mods And Admins.
A suggestion. (13) Hey guys. As some of the mods may know (Jlhaslip and Mayank among others), I report a fair amount
of posts and users. And I have a suggestion, since this is how I find this stuff. If you see a new
member with under 75 posts, that has posted a topic UNDER 50-70 characters, you need to review all
of his posts. I have caught three members within two days by doing this. And I will continue to do
this. The reason is these people tend to have the nasty habit of posting consistently short posts.
And although it may seem innocent on some of the short topic posts, I soon f....

Credits Suggestion
This will help forum profits! (3) I suggest that you make it possible for people to buy credits. The credits should be cheaper than
actual paid hosting. I think this is a good idea becuase users can post their way to getting 10
credits, but to keep their hosting they can buy, say, 100 credits. Then 100 days later they can buy
another 100. I think this will really lead to the success of this forum. Hope I helped.....
Negative Hosting Credits Suggestion
(0) im suggesting that there should be a limit that your credits can go into the negatives. a while ago
i was really busy with school, sports, and everyday stuff. during this time, i did not have much
time to get online and i stopped going to this site for awhile. now i am back and want to get my
site back up so i can try some things. the thing is, my credits are way below zero. currently im at
-31 hosting credits. and you need 5 credits to get your site back up (i think its 5, not sure). i
was thinking that it might be an okay idea if you put a limit to how far your credits....
Suggestion For Additional Credits
(10) hi friends, I just got a suggestion to make. Admins, just see whether it would help? Since there
are some topics which are made just for the sake of it and not of high interest. What I suggest is
that the topic starter can be given additional credits if he/she starts a topic which if of interest
to more members. This can be judged from the number of replies that are generated or by the number
of topic views. It can be set that for every 10 replies the topic owner gets certain credit points.
or may be for every 20/50 views that the topic generates, the member can be aw....
Suggestion: E-mail Reminder, Or Taskbar Application
To let you know when you are almost out of credits (4) Hi Everyone. I have a suggestion which quite possibly have been suggested before. My suggestion is
to have an e-mail reminder sent out to users who's hosting credits are below, lets say, 4
points. that way, users who can not return to the forums frequently could still be aware of their
credit status and avoid account suspension, it will also help bring back members to the forums to
post. Another option, which sounds best to me but might be harder to acheive, is to create a small
application that sits in your task bar and displays your current hosting credits, each....
Cpanel Suggestion
for faster loading (8) I wanna suggest a new skin, that takes a much shorter amount of time to load, cPanel is very slow on
my side, i dont know if im the only one, but my connection is good so it cant be that. Maybe you
guys could add a LoFi version of cPanel in, that doesnt have a large amount of images in it (im
guessing thats whats causing the slow loading)....

(4) okay i read Dooga's topic just a second ago and i think that if the the admin the main admin
wants to know something about your account i think that he needs to pm the member on this forum and
tell the person that its him and ive seen this done on a different place. that way no members can
give info to a fake admin. I mean it would make so much sense instead of making topics about
impersonators and fake posters. I also think the real admin should also give a link to his real
email address so that we know that it is him asking for account info. Well that is my sugge....
Suggestion For A Board
(0) I was just thinking...I know I would really like it...but would you mind making a board dedicated
to graphics and so forth. You could allow people to request sigs and banners for their websites and
so forth. I think the board would get alot of attention. I know that there is a creativity forum,
but it just doesn't seem to fit.....

New forum suggestion (4) hi moderators, I have a suggestion. I could not find a forum for Database. It wud be a good idea if
you could create a forum where queries on databases can be posted. Since I cud not find a suitable
forum I posted a topic in the Others sub forum under Software. If you create a forum, could you
please move my topic too to the new forum. There are a few other database topics too that are

Posts Suggestion
(1) I found that many people are confused about the post issue, where you have to have more than 300
charecters. However, I have a better suggestion. If you made a addon called "Good Posts" and after
that put the script of 300 charecters and another one saying "Total Posts" with the normal script.
For example, I posted 10 normal posts and 6 GOOD posts. That way, the ranks for the forum will rise
faster, yet, we still know how many posts are good. That way, I don't say n00b until I post over
30000 charecters in the forum.....

yo check it out (6) When you add a shout to the shoutbox, dont know if this is just with mozilla (explorer i use) but
after posting a message you are then sent to a blank page. Now I know you could simply go back.
But as an suggestion make your site more efficient you should: Add some sort of redirection from
the blank page to the forum home (which I have seen another forum site do) or preferrably redirect
to the last page you posted your message from (but refreshed so your are able to view your message.
Or maybe you could somehow make the process of posting the messgae not take you....
