| | Well, I'm not leaving Trap17, but I'm making a new site with some friends, and our old host doesn't support PHP and MySQL. We're getting around 150 unique pageviews per day, and the site is NOT completed.
So, is there a good, free host, providing high bandwith, php, MySQL out there? I don't really care about the space, but it should be at least 50-60MB... |

Why not stay loyal to trap17? The service is good and you get PHP and MySQL support so you can't beat that. You can ask your friends to create an account and he can just stay active in the forums. You can both be the admin for the new site. Just a suggestion.

I would also recommend you trap17...a little posting is all that you have to do and believe me it will be a lot faster than go looking a round the web for a good host! There is no host like trap17 and you just have to face it...everything else is preetymuch crap.. ) so i'd say STAY WITH TRAP17! Greetz

Yes... Trap17 is already very advanced woth all the features. And 5 gb bandwith is enough for 150 pageviews a day... (I get araund 200 page views a day and I dont use more then 2 gb bandwith!)

I agree tell your friend to start posting on Trap17. This is one of the few rare webhosting jems that lets you have fun posting and you get free paid hosting. I sure hope that your friend comes here he won't find anything like this.

I agree with the others. Stick with Trap17. Pass it along to your friends by word-of-mouth (or by e-mail) so that they can join our community. There's always room for more members.

Well, it's mainly because we already get 150 UNIQUE hits per day, and we haven't even completed 20% of the page yet! So I need more bandwith than trap17 can offer. However, I have my other page hosted here at trap17, and I won't leave you, don't worry!

however the host site you gave is that great.vitually,trap17 meet our all need till now,good space,support php ,sql and email system.that's all in my view.i am used be here chatting and obtains knowledge.not care for the space too,although there are already 150M.

I think trap17 is pretty good. If you need more bandwidth, why not try figuring something out with the admin? Ask them if you can get more bandwidth in exchange of less webspace, less features, and more credits. ^^ If that doesnt work, try L2P's plans, i think they have this uber plan where u get a lot. You also need to post a lot though ^^;;

I really dont know how good trap 17 is because i am still waiting for the administrator to allow hosting on my account. But i was previously using www.spotquick.com they were very good ... But i am looking for some other hosting service only because they put a Google Ad banner on the top of your page and that really kills my site's design. How Do I Find My Mysql Password? [resolved]
Cannot access my MySQL (5) After all the recent problems, my account has been restored. I have setup my parked domain agin, and
that works fine. However, I can no longer access my MySQL databases (I can from PHPMyAdmin, but
that's all). I had to create a new user for my databases, and created the user with exactly the
same username and password I had before, but some of my web pages do not let me access the pages I

Remote Access Mysql
(8) Is it possible to directly access my local database from my website? For example, if somebody
submits info on my website, the info they submitted would be transferred to my local database
directly. Is that possible? And if so, how do I set that up? The reason I don't want to upload

endless mess of going back and forth trying to get the programs to work together properly. Finaly I
got them working after about 48 hours. There are great tutorials on the setup process, but only one
