here lately i have been looking for a good theme for my desktop. i really don't like the ones that are standard for xp, you know like the green silver and blue. they are really ugly. so i found one that is really good i like it all. i am sure that you all have heard of the zune mp3 players, well it is the theme for zune. it is nice. here it is
I just use StyleXp which is a good program to costomize windows desktop and themes i also like the black themes too which i normally use the vista style the most

you can download a torrent called windows blinds which changes the computer UI (user Interfae) completly. i download one for my computer to look like vista and it looks exactly like it down to the system propities. so if you want your computer to completly change get that
not just backgrounds, i am talking about like a complete visual makeover. like the look of your taskbars and icons and everything.
Oh. I used to have Yahoo Widgets. I'm telling you DO NOT GET THIS. My computer sucks because of it. I changed my Desktop Theme to Halo2. It was boring, confusing to use, and it was plain boring so I tried to uninstall it. Took me about 3 days but I finally figured out how to uninstall it. After that I couldn't use any programs for a month. After I could the computer was very slow and I didnt have any viruses. It's still slow to this day. In about October 2006 I uninstalled it and it's been slow ever since! Crazy eh?
hmm. i think i am going to try the windows blinds thing. hey do you know if it takes up much of your ram memory. like have you had any problems with it slowing you computer down while running tyhe app.
I use VistaX from jvanbarel, got it from deviantART - it looks really cool (It's a Windows Vista-like skin), and the good thing is that it is compatible with the native windows theme managment engine. I think Windows Blinks takes too much resources.
i don't like desktop themes for Windows . i like default Theme for windows XP ( blue). other themes have many bugs, for example fonts , icons and colors do not match
There is another program that can customize the visual appearance of your desktop, they claim that it really does not slow down the computer since it replaces the shell of windows xp or vista. It looks really great, I was checking the themes and there are some really great themes. Its not free though, you can find more information for this at http://themes.astonshell.com/
I would rather buy this program than windows vista, everything I need runs perfectly fine and fast in windows xp, there is no need for vista with this shell, it looks a whole lot better than vista or osx.

be very cute if you change the 4 main points of the Windows XP desktop in visual, these are: 1.

download wallpaper+themes, log-on skin and bootscreen that i used currently.....
Hey everyone. I have been using Dee2 since the days when winamp 2 were in style. However, ever since
ive started using winamp 5 it has started taking way too much cpu for my liking. In winamp 2 when
Dee2 was being used i would max out cpu at 10%. However, now with winamp 5, its around 30% go figure
that this isnt acceptable. Let me know what DSP plugins you use for winamp and how much cpu usage
winamp is taking for you. Thanks all.....

I recently came across this really cool software (unfortunately not free) called BlogJet which
allows users to Blog directly from their desktop, i.e post directly to their Blogs without even
going to the site. Its highly flexible and is compatible with lots (nearly 15) of Blog Hosts
including Blogger.com, LiveJournal, Xanga. I found this software really useful. It has still more
great features like recent post retrieval from the server, FTP file upload and lots more. You guys
should definitely give it a try. I simply love it - Makes blogginbg a lot easier. Visit their si....
If you had to only take 3 pieces of software, what would they be and why? I will start by saying
First, I will go with opera because i love its speed and compliance with w3 standards. Second,
trillian because i can use all the chats in one although miranda is looking better each day but not
there yet for me. Finally, bitfender because its such a small yet extensive program that also works
for linux Your turn now ....
Your Favorite FREEWARE Programs? I'm a huge user of freeware programs. I hate paying for

consolidate all your msn/aol/icq/yahoo instant messaging into one client. better than miranda and
the other freeware ones i've tried. 7-Zip support for most major compression schemes, and adds

I use BitTornado because it's very reliable for me, although at times, the GUI seems to freeze,
and I get very mad when that happens because I leave the computer on for a long time, so when I get
back, I expect a finished download. I've also tried BitComet. I don't know if this is me,
but the torrent seems to take SO much longer to finish downloading than it does on BitTornado. If
you've experienced this, post below. Shareaza is another client that I've tried, but it
doesn't seem to handel torrents very well.....
Hi everyone I was wondering which IM have you used or are you using now? I have MSN, Yahoo
Messenger, and AIM installed on my computer right now. But I use MSN most of the time since
it's where most of my contacts are. /biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle'
alt='biggrin.gif' /> I tried Trillian as well but I abandoned it since it doesn't have audio
or video capabilities. I've also heard of open source IMs but I haven't really tried them.
Any ideas or experiences?....
