Do you remember the best adventure games ever, they dont make them anymore but they were great heh, and you can still play many of them on the new PCs tnx to an open source development group smile.gif

ScummVM (works on linux and windows)

Nice thing theyre also working on kyrandia series, hopefully they add 2 and 3 too, and i wonder if someone remembers the great titles like quest for glory and kings quest (actually, some of kings quests and qfg are remade and work on modern pcs (windows platform)

(and btw beneath the steel sky is avaialble as freeware now and downloadable from web (released by authors, legimate)

Ya know....what I'm really trying to find is an old rpg game called Earthbound lol. Some of you might remember...it's back from the SNES days, but I heard it was ported to PC somewhere at sometime, but I've never seen it. lol it was prolly the most addictive game ever, but it rocked. Any ideas or anyone know where I might be able to find a copy? Heck I'll even take an SNES and the original if I could find it again lol.

Hehe that game (earthbound) was my first RPG ever. It was really fun at the time but I kind of doubt I would get the same enjoyment out of it now since it has been probably almost 10 years ago. I doubt it was ever ported to the PC by nintendo because... how many nintendo games do u see on the PC? You could probably easily find a copy of it on ebay. You can't have my copy though hah.

    I'v ejust bought this game yesterday. I've seen the title for some time and I thought it is
    so great. And yesterday after losing so much money (yes... to buy), I've got it. This game is
    very... beautiful if I can say. The scenery is the one make it very pretty. Till my remembering,
    I've never seen a game that has so beautiful world than this. And well I do hope this is an RPG,
    but it's an adventure. A game where we walk through the very vast world and solving mysteries
    one by one. Anyone have played it and has a comment one or two?....

    HI I have completed both of games Max payne 1 & 2 ,, while i was playing ,, i enjoyed many parts
    and animation of these games ,, even i liked their dialogues wow ,, the game is tottal adventure
    role playing ,, The remedy corporation every time tries to make a game , that could rule over all
    it surplus ,, by the way ,, and max payne series are its creation ,, after a long time i played max
    payne 2 ,, which was so much wonderful ,, the new ways ,, new attractive rownds Even people liked
    its dialogue , for example ,, a man having costume of chicken , tries to save him....

    Mainly for the Knights of the Old Republic game but any SW game is welcome KOTOR as I remember it
    on the X-Box was so fun and so damn addictive that I ended up dreaming about it at night. The
    characters in it were so awesome; the storyline was so good. One if not the best RPG I've ever
    played...now I'm at college and don't have time to play it but oh well Has anyone else played
